Hello !
As everyone knows, Plato decided to implement a new module : Dictatorship. Since this update, some MUs tried to make some putsch. Currently, there are 20 dictators on eRepublik :
In red, the Real Dictatorship (RD) and, in orange, the Internal Dictatorship (ID)or the Civil War. So there are 3 RD in Switzerland, Malaysia and, now, Australia. And there are 3 ID in Italy, France and Greece.
In Switzerland and Malaysia, the dictator and his friends destroyed their community and adopted many laws to earn more money. And in Switzerland, they stolen the money. It's a shame.
Yesterday, eRoc is under a Civil War by Chile. And with the help of many players/countries, Taiwan are able to defend his country and won the campaign. So I think it'll be a nice idea to repeat this move but, this time, in the eWorld.
I'll explain what I'm trying to say. I would like to create an organisation which fight against the dictators around the eWorld. With the help of many players, I'm sure we are able to win against every dictatorship.
How to make it ? Easy, you just have to fill the form and I'll organize the liberations and the resistance in the different dictatorships. With the help of the citizens of these countries.
I'll contact you once you fill the form on the picture.
Say No to the Dictatorship !

It is their problems so they need solve it with their power and not organizations from third side that can make all worse.
Unlike the US, this action is just to free the country. No to stay there and make a dictatorship after it 😛
Yes but do you really know the story of every eNation and eCountry? If you don't know why people want revolution for what they spend 200K of their money i think better stay outside all of it.
Some eNations just want make their eCountry better and now with the "Dictatorship system they can do it.
I don't think Switzerland, Malaysia and Australia are happy about their situation.
By the way, the idea is just to free a country if they really need help. It's not a forced liberation.
What you will do if "Bad" government will ask you for help? You will say "No?" Hard to believe. I am sure in all 100% that this organization will be not the same as you want it be, because it always was like it and it always will be like it...
I hope this organization will not make all worse than it now.

This isn't about forcing democracy, as I understand some countries decided to take advantage of dictatorship to protect themselves. It's about fighting true tyrants for the sake of democracy. The point of uniting players from all over the eWorld is to counter the strength a mililtary unit could deploy to take over a country, and to try to keep the military side of the game out of the political one.
Let's remind Plato that this game is called eRepublik, not eDictatorship.
Just to clarify something here, what Hideyoshi means is probably attempts of dictatorships in a similar way to what happened in eAustralia, where foreign people were behind the coup, not the country's own citizens. That's the major difference here.

A Real Civil War between citizens and soldiers/MU.

Canada Chose me as Dictator to protect against nations launching a Coup and stealing our nation from us. Kindly stay out of our internal affairs until Plato cleans up this mechanic.
Yeah I know it's the reason why I don't put Canada as real dictatorship or civil war 🙂
The idea behind it is to give another mean for countries under the threat of dictatorship to fight against this broken mechanic. Canada did well to protect itself, but many of us are not so lucky.

I think we should stay out of other countries' business unless they ask for our help. Depending on what point of view you take, the group could be labeled as a terrorist group, etc.
Agree with to be against the foreign dictatorship. Disagree with to be against the national dictatorship.
The module, in its concept, isn't bad, but the PTO deforms that concept.

Yep, foreign dictators only. No reason to interfere in a country's internal politics. Let different cliques in a country fight it out per the Dictator Module game mechanics.
Its a shame this module. They should have added Theocrasy.

I like the idea. But what about CS they've distributed? Probably not possible to prevent PTO even after liberation in smaller countries.

Our dicktator stole all the money from the treasury 587 gold and 150k cc. That is a lot of money for a small country.. And after this happens and a small country just spent hundreds of thousands more on COs to defend against the military coup, the admins expect this small country to raise 200k for a revolution? Of course you will need much more for COs and EBs to win on top of that. How can smaller countries survive in this game?? Why does plato do everything to destroy smaller nations? Why???. The dicktator will use the money he stole from our treasury for EBs and COs to fight against us in the revolution. Piss it all up the Australian community's money, just so he can stay... It's such a shame.. So many good players spent their RL money and donated it to try and help the community grow.. Then this dicktator comes along, rich boy with his friends just for fun, and now he will destroy our community and destabilize everything.. This dictatorship module will destroy the alliances too.. Countries will keep switching sides and MPPing with enemy countries.. It creates chaos...
In the end.. No matter the outcome we lost all our money... Everything.. We will have to spend everything we saved to fight a revolution.. Then we will need more for COs and supplies... In the end, whether we win or lose the revolution, our community will be broke... It's not fair this module.. It's very wrong... And I feel sorry for Switzerland and Malaysia too..
The only goal pursued by admins is to milk paying players to the last cent. They don't care about fairness, they don't care about entertainement, It is past time we look at our real enemies, both Plato and players supporting him by spending fortunes in this game. It's time for those left giving a shit to unite and fight the stupidness of dictatorship and guys who use it.
