The End or A New Beginning

Citizens of Australia you are about to see a referendum on the entire system of Government as we know it.
By way of background in a desperate attempt to highjack the elected Government of the country certain elites have hijacked the forum - including banning my access from senate votes without providing any reason - and then invoked a constitution that declares any action of Executive Government illegal.
As a consequence the elites have incorrectly persuaded senators to vote down taxation bills (declaring them as illegal) proposed by the Exectuive and are now attempting to persuade senators that the normal appropration of funds to enable the Executive to carry out its tasks as to be also illegal.
Despite the protests of the elite the Executive Goverment has put forward the normal bill to transfer funds to the Senate.
If the senate votes No - your elected president and his MoF will stand down and hand the keys of office to Paul Hamon as next in line. If the senate votes yes - we will again submit the tax bills in the same form - a No vote will have the same consequences.
If the senate votes yes - this will declare the constitution of the country invalid as a vote of no confidence and the entire function of Government will be run in game until a new constitution can be implemented.
Senate it is your choice.

The transfer to RBA should proceed because the Constitutional provision is bad law and will be repealed during the next Senate term. Leaving our taxes in the Treasury for a PTOer is insanity.
The tax proposals could have passed if the proposer bothered to discuss and have a robust debate about them. Proposing random tax changes is poor form.
Infin you are incorrect - the taxation bills have been discussed by the senate. I direct you here so you can see the lack of discussion on the matter and in fact I was the only contributor.

It is rather strange that we can have pages of comment on the power to do things but when it comes to actually discussing the issue that is to be done no one is interested in putting up their hand.
Protesting is elitist.
And look at my avatar... my hand is always up.
Sav, you can vote in Senate once you sign http://community.auserepublik.com/index.php?topic=13766.30
Until then, you're a Congress Member only under old and new rules.
Sav, I have no idea if/how your Senate access has been changed. According to the membergroups you're in, you should have access. Please tell me if you don't or submit a ticket and I'll try to have it fixed.
I don't agree with the sort of political blackmail you have spoken of. There are better ways to fix the problems that we face.
Sorry Majester I am unable to reply to that thread
What the Government has proposed is well in order, though I will once again point out the flaws in using a Reserve Bank structure for this purpose.
Whether a country is strong enough to PTO eAus .. or will PTO eAus .. is a moot argument when the more present threat to the national funds was made clear only days ago. If someone or some group can steal gold and money from under the Government's nose and not be resolved until multiple terms down the track, that says that employing the same method and expecting a different result is lunacy.
At the end of the day - anything can be gotten to.
>implying we should leave our money in the treasury so people can easily steal it rather than have to hack into an account to loot it thereby breaking game rules and giving us a route to get it back
i lol'd
I ROFL'd
The elites are destroying the country and all the mindless minions are letting them.
If Senate vote no to something that is democracy.
lol cry baby cry.
Rubbish Larni, its only Democracy if the ANP put it forward, otherwises its elitists destroying the country.
Interesting to note that the only elitists holding the nation to ransom are the ANP ones, Threatening to resign and hand all the RBA Money to PH sounds like Elitism to me. It also gives strong reasons why the Constitution was a good idea.
