Thank You

I am totally blown away that I have been elected to the 38th Congress. I’d like to thank all the people who wrote PMs, voted for or otherwise supported my candidacy. I will do my level best to make you all glad that you voted for me.

While I received excellent support from USA voters I was also very excited by the encouragement I received from players hailing from Croatia, Canada, Ireland, Israel and Sweden. While it is my job to serve in the best interest of the USA it is important to note that we rely on our trusted friends and that as we move forward with various plans we should seek their counsel. Noted English theologian John Donne famously wrote “No man is an island.” This concept applies to erep as well as RL.


Congress Update

Although today was Day 1 I tried to make it productive.

Housekeeping

1) Registered for access to the congress forum.
2) Donated 5 gold (election bonus) to the Army Group West Command org.
3) Signed up for the USWP Congress Mentoring program--I am open to input.

Voting

There are three proposals pending (2 lulz, 1 standard financial transaction) but I am holding off on voting until I have access to the official debate area. I will post a weekly recap of all my votes but as of now I have nothing to report on that front.


What About the Puppies?



The breeding pair have been betrothed. Please be patient while “Duke” and “Lady Ashley” enjoy the conjugal bliss that should produce a bumper crop of puppies.
