For the record, the loan never actually went through.. And he's also discussing the possiablity that some of the profit would fund our military..

That article was not supposed to be published. I was drafting two articles:

1. We lent money, YAY!
2. We didn't lend the money, here's why.

Sadly, I left the computer after finishing, came back and just pressed Publish...forgetting what it was...before I realized, everyone had freaked out.

We are NOT lending money to Colombia. We take the interests of our depositors very seriously and they have voiced their opinion quite clearly 😉

To fund our own military? That sounds to me like a good motive for a US senator. Anyways, a 300 gold loan isn't gonna give Columbia a winning edge.
