Still Fighting After 2nd Rnd Knock Out?
H.S Thompson
So, Dubh has been impeached on the second attempt?
I must admit finding this strange. I thought the first would have been sufficient - but then he only survived by a whisker...
Niall has his fists up for a fight...
In all fairness the vote was ongoing at the time. But he's defiant nonetheless:
"
Will I disappear if Dubhthaigh gets impeached?
No, I will still hold the title of Vice President and will continue to complete all the work Dubhthaigh and I have set, regardless. (edited in the name of language)
No doubt you will think I'm biased, which I am, although I have taken the time to look at both sides of this...
"
Now Niall, you've taken the time to look at both sides of this and yet you still remain biased?
Even in the face of this impeachment?
In a comment to your article here:
Vice President Huge Update on Duties and Things Going On in E-Ireland
You say, "...I will not be a 'yes man'..."
Do you have a choice? You're only the VP and as such the new president has the power to replace you if he so chooses (cite: Historical precedent, Darragh O Faolain vs Edana Savage).
Your bold words seem to be contradictory. You believe that "regardless" of the new appointment you will continue the work set out between yourself and Dubh. But that's at the behest of the current chief, big-wig, man-in-the-chair with your package in his hands, President JohnSmith 2K9. Such bold words suggest you don't wish to have a future in government at all - so how are you going to do this work set out between you and the now impeached ex-President?

Continue fighting over the ball in the playground, children
lol VERY WELL WRITTEN. and voted. Niall, even if you are proud of your current stance towards the situation, why continue the work of a president that has been impeached...
lol, the ball is in your court now.
Making presumptions on some of my comments, doesn't really prove anything, but I will take the time to reply to this.
"Now Niall, you've taken the time to look at both sides of this and yet you still remain biased?"
Well, I sat back and watched as many of this unfolded and even have tried to remedy it. Its a mix of partisan politics and dislike of the way Dubhthaigh carried himself. I have tried to help fix this, running the Inter Party Council to gather information on what the parties disliked about the administration and he took it into account. It seemed the parties were content with this hoping to see a improvement, but just after it ended BAM IMPEACHMENT proposed from IFP.
"Such bold words suggest you don't wish to have a future in government at all"
That is brought out from no-where (Again), why would I propose and start to enable many new ideas which I didn't want to carry through. I do wish to have a future in Government and believe I still have a lot to offer, this is evident if YOU actually read more proposals...
"😉o you have a choice? You're only the VP and as such the new president has the power to replace you if he so chooses (cite: Historical precedent, Darragh O Faolain vs Edana Savage)."
He will have to provide grounds for my dismissal, this is not a cabinet position. Anyway from what he has said before he is keepign the cabinet apart from John Jay.
"so how are you going to do this work set out between you and the now impeached ex-President?"
I'm awaiting him to contact me.
Before you ask?
Why am I making a big deal? Why am I so volatile?
I'm enthusiastic, mabye even over enthusiastic, but I have good interests at heart. This term is very precious as we are very close to the new modules.
I do not want Ireland to fall at the wayside.
Feel free to flame me, change my words around, make more presumptions. Doesn't prove much...
^
In other words your baawwwing that dubh got impeached and want to cause trouble.
@Niall: As far as I am aware the Constitution hasn't been repealed so under this term:
3.5 An Taoiseach reserves the right to dismiss Ministers as he sees fit.
It would seem to me that JSK has the right to dismiss you also.
Time for the Supreme Court maybe?
Pip the VP position isn't a ministry
