Squibeel for President!

Day 1,163, 10:20 Published in Japan Japan by Squibeel

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've written for you guys. I can imagine your position once you saw the title of this article. A few days back i would react in the same way, but i hope you give it a read anyways. 🙂

I am announcing today my candidacy for the Presidency of eJapan.
eJapan has been through a lot lately, from PTOs to Land Swaps and Training Wars, and thanks to previous administrations, every worst case scenario was avoided BUT we still face some problems today, less problems indeed but still problems.
With the constant in-game changes by the admins, we never know what will be waiting for us around the corner...

Japan needed a strong foundation to build those. We have that, time to start building...

1.MILITARY POLICY
2.ECONOMIC POLICY
1+2. MIL & ECO POLICY
3. INTERNAL & FOREIGN POLICY

So here goes:

1. MILITARY POLICY:
Our national army has been reborn recently, thanks to KITA Ikki and Alfred Ball. Food distribution during battles has become a possibility and funding for some operations were authorized. But this area in our country still lacks a lot. The military compared to last month's is more capable and more active. We have strong and active fighters (not enough to compete out there yet, but one day...). Though food distribution was made possible, weapon distribution is nowhere to be found, because the current funding can only cover so much.
I want to change that! I want to have our fighters working in our companies and earn the right to have a bonus after pressing that WORK button. This will be something i'm going to discuss with both the Minister of Defense, and the Minister of Finance next month. This needs to become a reality.

2. ECONOMIC POLICY
After obtaining a grain region during this training war, we were able to fix one of our problems - grain production. But like the military module, the economic module is always changing. Right now we never know, what kind of nuke the admins will drop on us. While our Minister of Finance has done a great job, the average citizen has no idea what's going on.
So first of all - transparency! Just because the citizens, or our congressman don't ask questions, it doesn't mean, we don't need/want to know, how we're doing. Here i want to mainly aim for weekly reports on the forums on our finances. Even if questions aren't asked, answers need to be given. Information must be available. For those who care. If somebody do not it won't be government abandonment, but one's fault.

----

1+2. MIL & ECO TEAM POLICY.
If I want to have bonus given to soldiers, when they work in our companies, then i need these two working together.
Our current Minister of Defense has been asking for funding. And as everybody could see, there was no report on it. Only "I need XXXX JPY". We need to change that with the weekly reports from our MoF. We should be able to improve our decision making, if a proper funding request report is given, and if we know, what we have.
As for the military bonuses, it is still a work in progress. I will give more details when i have them.

Isn't it time to start moving forward?

3. INTERNAL & FOREIGN POLICY

Thanks to virusxpl, and Kitchen.Sink. Both the JEC and Nihon no Koe have become active again, and i couldn't be more happy with that.
Kitchen.Sink has been doing a great job with his regular updates, and our dear readers can not say they aren't well informed and well directed.
JEC (Japanese Election Commission) saw it's revival recently, and after some logo contests and organizing, it's back on track. I hope to see virusxpl working with the new Minister of Security more actively next term.

And since i mentioned Minister of Security....nah i'll propose the changes in the congressman forum, be sure to watch!

PANAM and eJAPAN - There's a lot, that can be said about this combo. Going straight to the point, we're small and not as strong, as some of the countries inside this alliance, but even then, what is expected of us doesn't change!
So i'm aiming to fullfill those expectations and even, if you excuse me, make some people eat their words, when they doubted, if we were good enough to be in it!
And YES WE CAN! (i had to use that, not very original but it's true...).

Cabinet - Same old same old, but guess what, i'm almost aiming for that too. I'm currently building a cabinet full of old faces, BUT with vacancies for NEW ones, so if you're interested on a position, PM me. We'll talk about it! I'm aiming for a possible rotation for future cabinets, so we don't see the same people every month. We need more people involved in eJapan interests, so don't be shy!

So, that's all folks! Hope you consider me, if you see my name on Election day.
