Spreadsheets: The life of a capitalist in eRep

Day 2,108, 08:29 Published in Philippines Serbia by DragoonXRyu

I just finished my nth revision on my eRep spreadsheet.

Here's how it looks like:

That's just one of the tabs (though my most active tab).

At any given day, here's what I do when I log in:

1 ) Work for my employer
2 ) Train
3 ) Check market conditions
3.1 ) Check Philippines Food/Weapons/FRM/WRM
3.2 ) Check Supplier country Food/Weapons/FRM
4 ) Plug in market prices to my Market spreadsheet
5 ) Check ROI and Production Table to see, based on prevailing market prices, which companies are profitable to work in
6 ) For each kind of product factory, record work tax/salary cost, Total RM used, price of RM per unit, output
7 ) Record inventory levels and total sold based on previous inventory
8 ) Record new product costs based on existing, newly acquired from market, produced as manager, produced from workers
9 ) Log out

If I ever log in again later in the day, I update my market prices and re-check ROI and Production Tables.

It lets me keep track how much I've earned on a daily basis and of course, from there, extrapolate to weekly/monthly.

It's hard work and probably takes me an hour or so at my first log in for the day.

Hope this helps would-be capitalists. 🙂
