Senate Run

My friends I come to you again, boy this has been one exciting day hasn’t it? But now I want to draw your attention away from the Coalition and tell you a little about myself. I am from a distant land called America, this is where I started my first eLife long ago (back when elections were done by states and we had an economic module). And their I stayed and fought back the occupation of ONE afterwards I left and did other things with my life.

Now I find myself here in eAustralia and though it has been many things, boring is surely not one of them. When I arrived eAustralia was under occupation but was slowly receiving its regions back. I settled down in the ACP getting help from people such as Cal, our CP Tim_Holtz, and yes even Larni gave me her two cents.

This first month I was offered a spot on the ticket by Cal which I both greatly appreciated but also rejected, I didn’t think it was fair that somebody who had shown no ideas, no opinions, should be in the senate. I believe that people have the right to know who they are voting for, and with myself not even having a newspaper decided against it.

Times have changed, and for the worse I am afraid. We now find ourselves under almost total Occupation. And the chances of us actually having a senate are a slim one, but I feel that now is the time. When names were asked to run this month I was the first to volunteer because I know that it is something that needs to be done, and something I would like to do. Before I knew nothing about the senate but I have thoroughly studied what would be required of me if I was to become part of it.

By now you all know who I am, and what you will be voting for, I agree with going the diplomatic route with CoT to the best of our abilities. Of course if we cannot it is time to bunker down and prepare for a long drawn out fight. I have posted on the forum a handful of times, but you can almost always find me on IRC daily.

So without further annoyances I hereby declare my intent to run as a senator under the APP ticket. Of course if anybody has any questions or concerns you are more than welcome to message me, and I assure you I will respond with urgency. And I ask for your vote in the 2013 February elections. And with all your help we can work together, and make this country something we can believe in
