Interview with Kordak

1. Can you explain the situation a bit better?
Hi Konnes, first of all it is good to see that a reporter is so fast and willing to take an interview, it shows that our media is active and eager to get info on recent matters. So this all started with the application of Ninapje to return to the eNetherlands. She didn't manage to get accepted into the country, because she was accused of being inactive. So there already was a lot of conflict, but I tried to stay neutral even though Ninapje is my gf in RL. She was advised to apply again for citizenship and I trusted that things will go faster next time.

2. What has Odan done wrong in your opinion?
Okay so we have a MoHA that wants do to his job properly, at least that is what he is claiming. I did not really question that until he started to work actively against Ninapje again, while another citizen got accepted in less than 24 hours. Ninapje showed that she was active and there shouldn't be any more problems. The situation escalated after the following quote of our MoHA:
"i do not see any reason to let a probable multi into eNL."
Here the MoHA is falsely accusing on a public part of the forum in the immigrations section that Ninapje will not get accepted, because she would probably be a multi of the vice president of the eNetherlands. First of all it is not okay to attack another government member openly on the forum. Secondly you cannot falsely a player of being a multi, especially not if that is a trusted person like the vice president. That's like saying in other words that the top of government is cheating.

3. when did you reach the point that you wanted Odan to resign?
I trusted the president to take the right decision and I still do so. However I hoped that the president would take actively distance from this person and his opinions. In the case of a motion of no confidence it would not be good if the president supports someone that is openly accusing his vice president of cheating and who is actively blocking a real life Dutch citizen from returning home. I hope that the congress is wise and will support me in this matter, if they don't I will respect our democratic institutions.

4. If Odan would actually resign, who do you want to be his successor, and why?
I think it would be the best for all if someone will be the MoHA that is neutral and someone that stands above party politics. Someone nobody will question his or her integrity.

5. Do you think this effects your position in the government as Vice-President?
That depends on the president, if he decides to join the MoHA he will encourage behavior like this, while government members should set the example for other people. If he decides to take active action against his MoHA he shows that he really stands above party politics and is the president of all citizens of the eNetherlands. If the president is unhappy with my services he can get a rid of them, but that would be a sad thing for eNL since I am working on some projects that can help our entire nation in the future.
Interview with Odan

1. Can you explain the situation a bit better?
I rejected a citizen application, based on my investigations and observations. I will not go into specifics since i think this needs to stay on the appropriate channels. (aka the forum)

2. Do you think that you have done anything wrong according to the rules?
No, i acted according to the protocol that is in place for immigration, as MoHA my first duty is to protect eNL and i believe i did just that in this case.

3. What was your reaction on the topic, was it a surprise to you, or did you already know about it?
I suspected some sort of topic would be opened yes.

4. Do you think you will be fired eventually?
That is up to the president, but seeing his lengthy reply on the forum i don't think so.

5. Are you going to change anything in your way of operating after all this complains?
No, i believe my decision was in the best interest of eNL.
