Representative Dictatorship

Day 2,735, 21:27 Published in Japan USA by Tokihanatsu Shibou

Countries need Democracy to thrive, because let's face it who wants to sit here and smash the Fight Button all day long. With the recent change in the game, Dictatorships have taken over the systems of governance in almost all Countries in the New World. Few Liberation Efforts have been attempted in many cases. So now that Japan has installed a Dictatorship we have a Congress and President that must influence a Dictators opinions on Laws. Which beats the reality of a Rogue Dictator doing whatever he or she wants.

As in the case of lowly Japan, Congress has been more or less dissolved. A few days ago I sent a message regarding the Minimum Wage to our Dictator and he replied that he would do whatever the Minister of Finance (Governor) suggested. Even though a Minimum Wage Law requires a Congress under normal circumstances they have been superseded by the Executive Branch of Government here. Congress has zero influence on Governance here even though they have been elected just like the Country President.

Japan has no National Forum, has no National IRC room, and because of this Democracy has been stifled. I have not asked Congress members but I am fairly certain they have not been contacted at all regarding Law creation. There is probably no 'grouped personal message' including them. They are probably not even consulted in regards to anything.

This Executive Branch -> Dictator -> Law creation process is probably unique to Japan while other Nation's include their Congress members in the Law making process. In the USA and Serbia and other Nation States, because of the threat of a foreign lead Military Coup, they have installed Dictatorships. In the USA Congress approved a measure and set up a system that I think should be emulated here in Japan.

In the US System the Dictator IS the elected Country President and in a forum based discussion Congress goes about its Law making duties the same way it would be done without a Country President as Dictator. Japan must modernize its approach for fairness to the electorate.

Case in point: Currently we have had a successful round of Training Wars with the Russian State and now we are closing them for Congress Elections so that we have more seats, but for what reason? If Congress has no say here and everything is run by an Executive committee who cares if we have Congress Elections at all?

I say again: Japan cannot afford to continue on its current path. It must modernize and that requires a National IRC room and a National Forum space. I have had limited forum Administrator experience in the past and if the community wants I can help whoever decides to host a site. We need a democracy even though medal gold is forfeit under Dictatorships, we need something to unify the country and carry out a National Dialogue. Group PM's are not the answer neither is limited IRC alone.

As a Dioist Party President I seek for everyone in my Party to March in lock step, Unified in a Cause... Japan should follow this example, that Cause is a Unified Japan.
