Real life army part 2
Morten Asphaug
Hello again and im back with part 2 of my time in the army
part- http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/real-life-army-2259844/1/20
Sorry for my bad english
Last article i was almost finishd on the recruit and i can say now that i miss the time as a recruit on Madla, "3 komp"
Im in "Fregatt våpenet" now, i told them in the intervju at Madla that they can put me in whatever shitt jobs they have in the army if they dont send me to Bergen and Håkonsvern, i wanted to see new places
I told them to that i coud accept Håkonsvern if i get on a boat cuz then i woud be on the sea and see new places
What happend, i got on a boat, on a Fregatt at Håkonsvern but not one that travels, we are just sitting here and fix up in this boat and others that come here sometimes, we are the maintenance department in Frigate weapon 🙁
So now im not motivated for anything here, this is the worse role i coud get in the army and i have started counting days, 183 days left.
This is my home
KNM Otto Sverdrup
What i do is that im a "Takkel" "Dekksmann"
I paint, get rid of rust, guard duty, fire fighter, smoke diver or whatever it is in english
January im trying to get in to officers school, hoping to get back to Madla, if not, chanses to stay in the army are small
will be long time to the next part cuz now the next months will be just the same 🙁
guard duty today 16.00-19.00 and night time 04.00-07.00

It's good to hear you're having fun xD
Talking about Norwegian boats, back a few years ago 2 Norwegian battle ships docked next to my home town in Norfolk, Virginia for the TATTOO military band festival. One of those ships was staffed entirely by girls - every one of them at least 1.80 m tall and with shaved heads. Pretty hot!
got any pics of them? boats and girls? 😛
Im in 132 Luftving on Bodø Airstation! 🙂 I fix launchers and load f-16 with missils and bombs! Its a pretty fun jobb 🙂
I spent times of my military service on the mountain borders between Norway and Sweden. I hate to freeze.
Good luck with the career!
not been here long but im TMO and maybe next month im gonna be DH and then i will be UVK
As a styremedlem in Folkereisning mot Krig I didn't do military service. The good thing about it was that as a norwegian with immigrant background, they were kind of glad that I refused to do the service while norwegian borned members of FmK had to fight bureaucracy to get away from military service at that time.
bARTA, you shouldn't load F16 with missiles. Neither Norway nor any of neighbor countries of Norway is under attack or threatened by anybody. Those bombs are falling mostly on civilians elsewhere in the world due Nato's policy of aggression against weaker nations who don't obey Imperial dictate of Washington
The best woud be now F16 in the hole world and we all to be friends but as you can see in RL and here in eRep, thats never gonna happend
Since i hope to stay in the military i hope to get to Madla, taking in new recruits, that get me away from war and killing but i still help the Norwegian military 🙂
We need to load f16 with bombs and missils as training if there would be a criticiz or war. If we have the same mentallity as in 1940 then Norway might get invaded again. Its highly unlikely but when its a economic chaoes in a country extremism always grow. Norway is under constant thread and Russia is always testing and pushing Norwegian airspace every week.
If you dont train for a future situation then you cant handle it as good... Norway had almost no defence during WW2 because of a very neutral political scene that didnt want to boost the old outdates Norwegian army.
Tsk tsk tsk!
Economic chaos doesn't feed extremists. It's the uncapable policy of a government to answer the need of own citizens that can make the situation hot in a country and population's answer could be a revolution. Now would you set army against own people and their revolution like in Egypt?
... and about Russians, the mafia there has enough wealth and resources. They are only interested to keep status que in own country. What they do is perhaps an answer to the never ending Nato surveillance of their northwestern areas and the only military base there which is mostly done by Norway.
