This time we'd like to analyze the success story that was our previous article Laatuartikkeli #1, which was published only in Finnish. We apologize to our international readers for the lack of translation.

So, first of all, let's take a look at the views that this article got:

The total amount of subscribers at the time of writing the article was 501, the total number of viewers for the article was 93, and so according to our analysis department we get the ratio of view to subscriber, for articles in Finnish, of about 18,56%. Out of the total 93 views 84 were by our Finnish subscribers, which translates to 90% of the viewers being Finns. This makes sense, since the article was mostly advertized in the local MU and party feeds. The 10% of international viewers were click baited from the editors friend feed.

So, the viewers of the article were presented with an article, which depicted a bouncing banana and a call to action to comment on the article in the form of a small text below the banana; "Plz komment". Out of the 93 viewers staggering 35 followed through and actually commented on the article, although the quality of the comments were in many cases subpar, which, considering the quality of the article wasn't all too surprising. Some of the highlights in the comment section were comments such as "OMG! So good" and "Hi! | | I would just like to defecate". Nevertheless a respectable 37,6% of viewers decide to comment on the picture.

2 of the 35 comments were apparently from our international viewers (20% of the international viewers, 5,7% overall) and 7 out of 35 comments (exactly 20% of total comments) were links to other articles, apparently trying to piggyback on the success of our amazing article in an attempt to gain more viewers for their substandard publications.

Time-wise, the article got it's first viewers immediately after publication and 62,8% (59 of 93) of the views were during the first day:

On the second day after the publication, the number of viewers dropped to 28 (30,1% of the total) and on the third day the last 6 (6,5% of the total) viewers found the article.

So, after all this number crunching, where does this leave us? I don't have a fucking clue, so here's a picture of an earth:

An artists' illustration of Finland, the greatest country in the world.
