What I Think
As you can tell, Q6 items have made it's way into the game. Now right now, these items are way over priced. Q5 food is 2.44, while Q6 is 11? That is just crazy. Q6 weapons are also a little bit over priced as well, the price of Q6 will probably drop a lot within the next month once people figure out that people won't buy so highly priced items when they could buy multiple ones of a lower quality that would do the same thing for cheaper.
Q5 weapons are down 18%! That is a huge drop, that's a 5 dollar drop from yesterday. This will probably not happen again for awhile, so buy some Q5 weapons while you have the chance. This is probably also because of the price of Q6 weapons being so highly priced, that they dropped the price of Q5, but still, buy the Q5 today.

I saw that a few people commented saying that this looks awfully familiar and that Chae Dee is going to end his newspaper at the end of this month, but that's not why I started mine. I didn't start it to make people think that I am following in Chae Dee's footsteps, I just saw his paper, read it for a few weeks and thought, why don't I start a newspaper that talks about eAmerica's marketplace? I never meant to make a newspaper about it right as he posted an article about his leaving, that just happened. The Marketplace Times may not live up to the Chae Dee Business, but hopefully it could be a newspaper that people will recognize and read, that's my goal for this newspaper. To inform the people about what is going on in their marketplace.

Q6 looks like it will go down tomorrow, I think that people today just got crazy with the prices because it just came out today. They are money crazed and all, just wanting to get as much money as they possibly can for their Q6 food and weapons. Thanks for the compliment DSS, it's very much appreciated.

Yeah its temporary monopoly people are not stupid and only reason they would buy something double a q5 is to try it out
Q6 can only go down on both accounts. Food is fairly limited in how it turns into health. People buy health for food, and there is little difference between quality types, which keeps those prices fairly fixes at .5 USD per 2 health. Honestly, that ought to put Q6 eventually around 3.00 USD. The buybot tends to keep weapon prices fixed within the 5-6 USD per item spread. People have huge stockpiles of Q5 that they are now dumping in favor of Q6, which will keep Q5 prices down and Q6 prices higher before both of them settle, again in a 5-6 USD per Quality range, with perhaps 1-2 USD higher prices on the Quality 6. Thus instead of the 30-36 USD, I'd expect 34-38 as the final range for Q6. Again, it may take a long time for those prices to settle there, but that's roughly what I'd expect. The market will fluctuate as it establishes a new equilibrium post-changes.

Each Q should be 20% higher then the lower Q. Maybe 🙂
the average price of Q6 food is $8.33. that is why it is so overpriced.
I love it. I picked up several hundred Q5 tanks yesterday for around $20.00 each. That's a bummer for Q5 company owners. Personally, i would have pulled my Q5's off the market once those Q6's started arriving. Alas, most didn't and were hit double with lower market prices for finished product and higher prices for raw materials.
Prices for Q5's went north a bit further today so, maybe those bargains were a one day thing... I expect that people will realize that Q6 does not warrant the inflated prices and they will come down and things will realign.
