President's Farewell Address to Greece-English/Greek
Constantine Sophotatos
My dear fellows,
A month has passed since you trusted me as a president of Greece. During this time I tried my best to fulfill my promises. I accomplished some of these goals and even made some mistakes, but overall I think Greece is stronger than before. I received numerous attacks for the most ridiculous issues. I've been calumniated for the most unexpected reasons. All this while everyone knew that I was president to help Greece with my experience. I looked pass these things as I did the fake desire of some for "more democracy," but we reached an impasse. Foreigners ruling and foreigners asks for presidency. I, as a Greek, will not tolerate this and I ask you not to as well. I ask you to vote for 1Fanmel, candidate of National movement for the unity of Greeks (ethniko Enotiko kinima). A worthy player, a Greek with much experience, one who really cares for Greece. Don’t let the others decoy you. Where were those who now speak of "democracy" when we fought for our freedom? Don’t let them exploit your dreams. Vote for them who succeeded in freeing Greece and rebuild it. E.E.K. (ethniko enotiko kinima) doesn’t promise miracles. We promise hard work and we call all of you to follow as in these dark days we are heading to. I will resign from any political post. I will help the next president in his first steps and then I will follow my own way. I want to thank you all again for your Trust.
Makoulian

Makoulian

Unfortunately all I'm seeing from those that would follow you is xenophobia, paranoia, and a desire to have a one-party state, and Fanmel has been extraordinarily quiet for someone who is going to be running for president. Saying he is just going to do what you did sounds like entitlement to the position of President on the part of the EEK.
Thx for the translation Constantine.
@Ikarti Xenophobia? Why don't you show in public our PMs?Have I been xenophobic towards you? Also Mr.Greene(leader of 2nd party) was I xenophobic towards you when you were organising the 2nd party? If yes pls say so...The fantasy of some people is extreme...
PS Keep the mud coming..
@Ikarti
All that doesnt agree with you are paranoid eventually, except you 🙂 To summarize. I'am the one that is followed by paranoia and xenophobia not Makoulian..you got confused..
And i will carry on to be when i see a foreigner using either the symbols of Greece and Byzantium (besides for all the rest i have mention as well). To you, i'm sure those symbols means nothing. To most of the Greeks means alot.
Also as Ioannis Metaxas mentioned, i dont see a reason in Greece to use english, so start using the google translator from now if you want to keep up with what the most of us will post. Unless it would be paranoid and xenphobic posts and u dont care 😉
Can someone please explain why I am taking heat here?
We use English for foreigners like me who role play as Greeks because in our hearts we wish we were Greek and we do everything we can for this eGreece with our limited abilities and resources. I understand being cautious of random comebacks like these but being xenophobic and anti-foreigner is a great way to alienate those like me who have fought and payed dearly for eGreece's freedom and have been true eGreeks our whole eLives, even if not having been privileged with real life Greek ancestry.
And I don't know Constantine I'm not attacking you. Thanks for translating.
The issue I see developing is people like Jaguaros seeing non-rl greeks as an inferior people, and seek to keep eGreek for Greeks or whatever misguided notion he's currently acting under. I'm all for a close knit cultural identity, but when you sound like a Turk arguing against the Armenian Genocide then you've overstepped your mark, whatever point you're trying to make.
Makoulian do you really want to show all the PMs and forum posts because I'm not the one who comes out looking really awful, what with the straw manning and looking up my IP and accusing me of hiding something because I took a vacation in London. I'm going to post those pictures, Pyros and Jag can apologize, and the EEK can stop begging me for money while they go on about disrespecting me.
Lol way to go out in still Mackie boy, although this is more of an endorsement speech, and ad hominem at me and a few others rather than a "Farewell Address"
"Don’t let the others decoy you"
Cutting words from somebody that is supposed to be an honorable man. Hopefully Fanmel does bring in a new age, not at all similar to that of your Government, and I look forward to working with him, and will be writing my concession speech later.
Jaguaros: "i dont see a reason in Greece to use english, so start using the google translator from now if you want to keep up with what the most of us will post."
That sounds a lot like xenophobia to me. Foreigners like myself who WANT to help Greece are beginning to feel shunned. How do you think greece is going to make a comeback? In my opinion, you need all the help you can get, and I admit I might be wrong, because I'm new here. Greece has a much more promising economy than my native USA, which is why I came. But as a citizen of Greece I am also interested in every aspect of this country's welfare, and will fight valiantly along native Greeks for reclaiming former Greek territory. If I were you, I would be flattered by all these foreigners clamoring to aid in the Greek cause. You know, we could just as easily move to Turkey and take over Thrace if we wanted to. But we don't, because we feel that the Greek cause is right, and we feel that Greece should retake its territory and become a strong nation - that's why we're here and not somewhere else. Therefore, we're friends of Greece, not enemies, and it seems that Makoulian and Jaguaros, and maybe some other EEK members, seem to be the only oens who won't realize that.
