Join the new world

My my, how the Economic Landscape has changed dramatically. Raw Materials are plummeting, though not at all time lows thankfully, Finished goods are falling, and storage is about to become a major factor in how long we keep our goods and how we conduct our business.

Now, unfortunately, I’m not that well versed in Economics on a grand scale like this (Tbh, I only scraped a pass in my Business Studies), and I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head who does, but I thought, why not ask around and see what some people from the everyday walk of life thought. So, this will be the first of a 3 part series (Might expand it) into what you think.

So, lets get started, with RvR –

Ok, First off, What is your name and what do you do?
I’m Rick von Ruger, Commanding Officer of M3 Platoon, Division 1 USNG, and i own several companies in-game

And how many companies do you own exactly?
Just bought my eleventh

Very nice, and how much do you make from them?
at market prices right now I make ~$300/day. i work at a commune as well so I don’t really factor that in

Not too bad considering what I make lol, but how much did you earn before these changes?
Before the changes took effect, I was bringing in about $500, maybe $550 a day

Ouch, pretty big drop, and finally, what do you think about the changes and do you have any suggestions?
I don’t really mind the changes to be honest. My income might be down, but so is the price of gold. My income before the changes in terms of gold was around 1.3/day, now it’s about 1.2. People have to realize that even if their income is down, goods and gold are selling much cheaper. As far as companies go, raw material companies aren’t making as much as they did before. Investing in food/weapon companies are better at the moment, but that could change with time. my only complaint is that I cant sell any of my raw material companies anymore 😑 also I suggest buy some tanks while theyre cheap, they might not stay that way 😛

I own 7 companies

Surprised you own any at all, but hey, we all got costs to cover eh? So, how much do you make at the moment?
I don't really pay attention to daily profits. But since the new companies came out, I've been making more real income

Fair way to put it I guess, and how much do you think you earnt before the changes?
I earned more money back then. But since all goods fell in value now, it makes up for it.

I like how you're being so vague about numbers lol, but anyways, to round the questions off, do you have any comments and suggestions on the changes?
Yeah. Besides health packs, is gold useful for much anymore? I think they need to make more uses for it
