Norwegian Campaign

Day 2,489, 08:57 Published in Norway Norway by Jasper Zuidema

Hello Norway!

I’m writing this article while I’ve joined some friends in Havana eCuba. Over the past couple of day’s I’ve gotten the chance to work with Cuba and get to know a few of it’s citizens, I even got the chance to help fight for Cuba in Oriente and help with some supplies in there resistance war. I hope to get into more contact and hopefully build upon the blossoming relations there, you guys are awesome! Now onto my article, it will highlight some of the battles we have had the past couple days against the UK/Netherlands.

Norwegian Campaign

Norway - When the UK had placed an NE law on Norway, we quickly countered with our own, both where accepted, the problem came when the Netherlands joined the campaign to fight against us as we could not NE them back, never the less our initial attention was focused on them in Vestlandet, but after that loss, we had to turn our attention towards other battles, The UK opened with war in Sorlandet and followed an attack on Ostlandet, Netherlands headed north towards Nord-Norge. With the border cut, UK attacks Sweden in Jamtland Harjedalen to aid Germany who liberated Denmark and attacked Bohus. Norway has been on the defense through out this war.

UK - After failing to keep there regions in Scandinavia, they placed an natural enemy law on Norway. With the ultimate goal of attacking Sweden (presumably for the deer in Jamtland) First attacking Sorlandet (Step 1) and then immediately Ostlandet (step 2) with the Netherlands cutting Norway’s border with UK in Trondelag, UK NE’s Sweden and attacks Jamtland Hajedalen (Step 3) hoping to put another front on Sweden which is under attack by Germany in Bohus as well.

The Netherlands - With the quest to aid there ally as part of the NSPP (North Sea Protection Pact) Netherlands attacks Vestlandet (Step 1) but initially faced stiff resistance from Norway, ultimately prevailing, they immediately attack Trondelag (Step 2) to help the UK cut the border with Norway so they can NE Sweden. Ultimately ended with easy sailing and with the attack on Nord-Norge (Step 3) Norway came under occupation.

To our Allies

I want to extend a big thank you to our allies who have fought for us during our campaign in Vestlandet, especially to Colombia and Argentina for fighting during the night, Greece for setting DO for us and Cuba as well for high priority in our battle. Your help isn’t forgotten.

What is going to happen next?
It remains unclear what is going to happen, at the moment our regions remain occupied by The Netherlands and UK. We have the option to free ourselves via resistance war but it’s my speculation that we will be immediately met with an NE returned on us and that the war could possibly be resumed. It would probably be in the best interests of both parties for find a way to resolve this conflict in a peaceful way.

Best Regards,

Jasper Zuidema
Prime Minister of Norway
