Congress has been rather lowkey on bills for a few days, having recently finished up the PANEC tax changes (and I voted no on them as promised). Additionally, we shifted more money to Fort Knox in order to keep up a good income and monetary level in there and the Treasury.

Finally, we had two war related proposals come before us. First was the peace proposal with Portugal. I voted yes, because it's obvious by this point that we can't take any Portuguese regions when they have 8 allies. Also, if you've seen how they attacked the Southeast in Mexico, it becomes obvious that this is EXACTLY what we were trying to avoid by proposing peace, which they totally shot down. Secondly, an MPP with Finland I approved, as they are a strong, friendly, ATLANTIS nation, and that is a good reason to bone up our defense.

I encourage everyone to fight to keep Portugal out of the Southeast. Fight on, America, and defeat the Indonesian-backed Portuguese menace!
