Mission ‘Strength’

Day 2,721, 13:22 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Lord of Bones

So our biggest rival in the eWorld is across the pond... France. Having monitored the egov statistics with great interest these last couple of weeks it is plain to see the UK and France are almost level in damage every day. However one worrying statistic sticks out.

France has 100 extra active fighters. But what else did I find?

Now unless we can magic up 100 new active players they will always beat us in numbers and over the countless hours a battle takes to unfold France are more likely to have more fighters fighting at any one time. When the direct war kicked off France was able to pull away in the strength department. We did 7.7bn damage one day and they did 10.8bn this is because they have a lot more two clickers who perform when needed see stats below.

UK Statistics
- 134 people are max training (Gaining 90 Strength daily) (41.87😵
- 14 people gain between 70-89 Strength daily (4.38😵
- 16 people gain between 50-69 Strength daily (5😵
- 111 People gain between 49-20 Strength daily (34.69😵
- 45 people gain between 19-1 Strength daily (14.06😵

320 actively trained yesterday. It is a bank holiday weekend and not everyone remembers or is available to train daily.

Frances Statistics
- 219 people are max training (Gaining 90 Strength daily) (30.97😵
- 14 people gain between 70-89 Strength daily (1.98😵
- 32 people gain between 50-69 Strength daily (4.57😵
- 280 People gain between 49-20 Strength daily (39.60😵
- 162 people gain between 19-1 Strength daily (22.91😵

707 actively trained yesterday for France more than double that did for UK.

Vitals
Over 41% of the UK’s population are max training according to those who actually trained yesterday. That is higher than France’s 31% and this figure is vital. The UK has fewer fighters so to balance this effect on the battlefield we need our limited fighting force to be STRONGER to equal the numbers.

Based on total numbers and taking the highest figure per group total strength gained yesterday was:

UK = 12,074 + 1246 + 1104 + 5439 + 2025 = TOTAL: 21,888 Strength gained.
France = 19,710 + 1246 + 2208 + 13720 + 3078 = TOTAL: 39,962 Strength gained.

These numbers are very worrying for us. France is gaining almost twice the amount of strength we do daily as a nation. But they only have 100 more active fighters on average, so we know a lot more of France are two clickers. But If we allow this trend to continue we will never overtake them as a nation. Those two clickers are still training more then ours and that makes them a huge threat in the future.

How do we react?
I have already mentioned this in congress; but it was quickly drowned by further arguments about our current tax rates. But having received no help from my government for the cost of training grounds I was very lucky to receive help and loans from the guys in the Royal Navy and UKRP. Of Course I have supported the Plato bank account to boost my head start in the game. But many players joining will not want to invest real money.

So what do I propose?
If we push harder to see a permanent fund setup from tax revenue say 30% of all taxes a month are keep in a pot. This pot can be distributed to the most active and reliable fighters. Helping them directly improve their TG’s. I think we should ask people to apply but I also think a ministry should hand select. For example this guy…

Active daily + fights every day!
I would invest in him, get him to max them TGs and get him dealing much more damage over time.

Funding
The idea of war bonds is being discussed in congress. I’m worried this will be sank into a battle and we never see the money again. I would rather we bite the bullet and make a big investment and see a big return in the many months and years to come from extra strength.

Issuing a War bond for £1000cc is about 4 gold.
So someone investing £50,000cc in war bonds would generate 200 gold (roughly) for Training Ground Loans. Increasing a Q4 TG in the offers costs 55g.

So I would like to see War bonds issued and that money invested in a REAL TG programme not the shambles we see from the government at the moment. This is a scheme of loans and so we should see most money returned. Issuing war bonds allows us to get this programme started properly.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the matter.
