There was a recent change in the Political Module effecting the Congressional Elections. (See previous article for details.) Now, it doesn't matter how many regions a country has in relation to stopping ATOs because citizens vote for Parties instead of individual Congress members for each region. This makes the Government's current war strategy of giving up regions useless since all the enemies of the USA are in one place, the American Freedom Alliance, a European PTO party.

From an economical standpoint the new voting system is great. Now that having more regions doesn't increase a PTO threat, the government can go back to holding 100/100 bonuses. When we went down to 80/80 bonuses food wasn't affected at all, but Weapons felt the hit immediately. All Q Weps have gone down in price continuously since Day 1752 (when we went to 80/80 bonuses.) Being back at 100/100 bonuses will mostly help newer players since they will be able to make more food and weapons for themselves. Salaries will also increase since company owners will be able to make more items per employee. That's all for now. Check back soon for another Market Update.
