Kria for Congress! (Michigan edition)

Day 1,280, 12:34 Published in USA USA by Kria Erikson

So, here I am, running for congress yet again. I’m running in Michigan, a pretty cool place, made only of penninsulas and basically surrounded by water.

Oh, and Canada. I can see Canadian bros from my house... that makes me qualified on foreign affairs, right?

I’m running this month as a member of the UIP, but as they’re no longer a top-five party, the Feds have kindly agreed to run me under their banner. I hope to be able to proudly represent both parties, as well as working with the Fraternal Brotherhood of Defense, which has kindly endorsed me.

If elected, I will approach the congressional process with the same diligence I put into my military career. This means no less than checking the forums daily, voting when necessary, contributing to discussion, and chilling on IRC with other congress people.

I pledge to use a reasonable mind when looking at funding issues. Changes by the admins sometimes require changes in laws, even ones that have stood for a long period of time. Taxes may need to be re-evaluated and I will attempt to keep the best interests of my country in mind.

I recognize that our alliances are changing daily, and as such I will use my best judgement and what information I am provided with to make the most informed decision possible. The security of the United States should come first when making (and breaking) alliances.

With this information, I humbly ask your vote in Michigan on the 25th of May. Feel free to contact me about any portion of my congressional run!
