King William the Great for UKPP Party President

Day 2,731, 15:16 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by King William the Great
From The Office of King William the Great
Former UKPP Member of Parliament
Former UKPP Spokesman

Well mates, it's that time of the month again(And no I'm not talking about Kate!). I am once again asking the great members of The UK Progression Party for your votes to become the next Party President of our party. You may remember that things got a bit ugly last time around, so I wanted to shed some light on that before I tell you a bit about what my goals will be if I am so fortunate as to be chosen as the next PP.

During the last PP Election session there was widespread paranoia that UKPP would be PTO'd, or another party. I felt that there was not enough evidence to warrant this reaction and was proven right when at the end of the day there was never any significant threat to any party in the eUK. This was used as an excuse to try to pressure other candidates out of the PP Election at the last minute. I chose to remain in the race and I stand by that decision even though my choice led to my removal from party leadership and a very low placement on the party MP list. Partially through this current term the individual who became PP decided to quit and abandon our party. This has created a serious leadership vacuum. Mr. Dragon has stepped in partially in the meantime, but without a clear party head at the moment we have been in a bit of disarray as a party.

If elected I make the following pledges to you the membership:

1. No retaliation for party dissent. I will judge all members based on their activity and merits alone. I welcome diverse opinions and I think it is what makes The UKPP a healthier and better party.

2. Party recruitment will be a priority. Our membership has fallen this past month to an all-time low during my time in the game. We need to keep our numbers up or our party risks free-falling.

3. Increase percentage in Congress Elections. I tie this to my previous goal, but I will make it a priority to win more seats in Parliament.

4. Membership outreach. I will keep the members updated on a regular basis on what is going on. If you want to be a part of my leadership, or you have any ideas or suggestions on what we can do then I would love to hear them.

5. Build party alliances. I want to see our party strengthen its position in the game by building more substantive alliances with other major parties.

6. Organize a strong UKPP led ticket for Prime Minister to strengthen our party and our country by proxy.

7. Find a solution to the Dictatorship problem that will satisfy as many people as possible. We must keep our country secure, while preserving our British democratic principles.

On the 15th of May, vote King William the Great!
Onwards UKPP!
Onwards Britain!
