Keep hope alive!

A couple of hours ago, eRep announced in their facebook that there would be a new tank skin available.

It would be the third different skin available about half a year, first, they gave us a red one in august and later a gray one in Halloween. And less than a couple of weeks ago they decided to implement a tool to switch between all your available skins.

What does it mean? The game could be following a new path, where huge investors get only visual stuff, that don’t actually affect the game (yes, I know that for a month the Monster Grinder saved a 10% energy, but still, it’s just a temporal booster).

The skins came after a lot of fighting and were not the only reward, but still, it’s a change that should not be ignored, they are awarding skins for people who either have a lot of resources ingame or is buying them. Now a third one, if I had to bet, I would not say it’s the last one we will see. I personally like this evolution, maybe in the future you can unlock special skins with real money, buying a pack, and it’s a change I would love.

Don’t let the people who is buying gold and cc to completely rule the game, I understand that they are going to have special achievements and stuff (why would they invest otherwise) but don’t give them all the tools (as they did with the implementation of the COs).

Hope is alive, maybe not everything is lost, yet!

Feel free to say what do you think. Is it just a new way to monetize the game? Or are they really thinking in changing their business model?
