It 's been an honor

As a result of todays events I resign from any official position I may hold within EDEN’s HQ.
It's been an honor serving for EDEN for such a long time and its been an honor serving and protecting EDEN’s Brotherhood.

I would also like to inform the erepublik community that, for the past month, Myrmidons where the recipients of heavy criticism from our “domestic enemies”. Their only aim was to belittle the effort and enthusiasm of my brothers within the Myrmidons MU, in the eyes of both the Greek and international community.

I more than anyone can understand the pressure on those people during the past week. I witnessed their efforts and their passion and was appalled when I saw our community and our Brotherhood being treated like this, even by people who fought by our side.

Tonight my decision was to stand by my ideals and uphold my promise as a leader. I stood for my brotherhood, I fought those who seek to play this game to annoy, divide and to cause havoc between brothers. I stand by my decision and I thank those who supported me. I realize that this might be something that many will not sympathize with, but for me this is the true essence of the game.

As a result my decision to resign from EDEN was my only option. I am just sorry that unity amongst brothers was frail and so few stood up to the actions of one player.

I would also emphasize that MYRMIDONS will not quit and will not be divided no matter what! Judging from some comments it seems the target of your hate is me and not Myrmidons. So please feel free to express all your hate towards me but leave my unit alone to serve its true purpose, to serve this alliance with dignity and honor as they’ve been doing with passion and diligence from the start.

Even if this is just a game, I won’t forget my principles, nor my friends, after all, this is what we all take with us when we shut down our computers.
