I've had several interviews with the ministers about their position in the government and the current situation in their ministry.

Odan, minister of home affairs

1. introduce yourself and explain your function.

'Well my name is odan, i've been playing erepublik since 2008, although i have left the game for several periods.'

'I'm currently the Minister of Home Affairs (MoHA), and i'm mostly responsible for immigration and some informative articles now and then. My state secretary (timveltkamp) is mostly concerning himself with updating and sometimes creating new wiki pages.'

2. what are you doing at the moment on government policies.

'Well like i said in question 1 we are mostly monitoring immigration and trying to keep the public informed about certain things, like our articles about mIRC and the forum/irc. We will also repost the article on the wiki soon, so we can inform newer and older eNL citizens about the option to create pages for themselves. We are also looking at some new ideas but haven't been able to work them out yet, but if there are people who have any new ideas concerning MoHA, my door is always open' 😉

3. roughly explain the current situation in your government.

'I'll keep it brief since i can't share everything that happens behind closed doors at the moment' 😉

'We are busy trying to secure our regions after a successful resource shuffle for us last presidential term, it might not go as fast as some people want but that is a job for our president and FA department. Some of our members are busy with law-book updating/rewriting, article writing/updating, etc. Most ministries can explain it better themselves.'


Spir Tus, minister of recruitment & coaching

1. introduce yourself and explain your function.

'After my function as Minister of Home affairs last month, I am now the Minister of Recruitment & Coaching. The Minister of Recruitment & Coaching, or MoRC in short, is in charge of coaching the new citizens of the eNetherlands. This means this ministry will reward new citizens who join our forum and we have to make sure the new citizens will be welcomed in our country and learn them how to play the game.'

2. what are you doing at the moment on government policies.

'At the moment we are writing the new welcoming articles which will replace the old onces. It is very important new citizens learn how to play the game. Every new citizen will receive a message from the president automatically. In this message a few articles are mentioned, so the new players will learn how this game works. Our task this month is to rewrite these articles so they are easier to understand.'

3. roughly explain the current situation in your government.

'As Ministry of Recruitment and Coaching, we don't have a lot of contact with the other ministries at the moment, because we are writing on our own articles right now. This will change in the remaining time of this term when we will maybe work together to rewrite some articles from the other ministries.'


Transvaal, minister of finance

1. introduce yourself and explain your function.

'Hello, I'm Trannsvaal. Current Minister of Finances of eNL. It is my job to partly generate, monitor and thoughtfully spent our national income. I also have responsibility over the national properties and reserves. This of course all in dialogue with the rest of the cabinet and under supervision of the Country President.'

2. what are you doing at the moment on government policies.

'Although I currently have no real projects going on, my work mainly consist of continuous tasks that have to be frequently executed. Most time is consumed by the components of the supply system, being: Commune management; Monetary Generator(MG) on the monetary market; and the actual distribution of the supplies.'

3. roughly explain the current situation in your government.

'The gold price has recently increased due to the change in rewards for certain medals from gold to a cc prize. This has temporarily stabilized, but will probably fluctuate more than before when a new change in supply and or demand changes (temporarily). If played right, this can generate more income in the MG.
Another curiosity is the increase of the loans. Due to the "new" housing market that keeps increasing with new qualities, there is more competition for workers.'


Arcanic Mindje, minister of foreign affairs

1. introduduce yourself and explain your function.

Hi there, i'm Arcanic Mindje, the vice President, Minister of Foreign Affairs amd leader of pancakes.

2. what are you doing at the moment on government policies.

We are currently in talks with friends and allies and straightening our relations including key talks with Hungary

Difficult times of attaining all 4 regions


Andreas Isaksson, minister of defense

1. introduduce yourself and explain your function.

My name is Andreas Isaksson. I play this game since august 2008, but I left a few times (http://tinyurl.com/6bm6pwa). I have been in several governments, most as Minster of Defense. Also I have been country president for 2 months.

My function is to take care of everything related to the military part of The Netherlands.

2. what are you doing at the moment on government policies.

I am working together with the commander and captains of the Dutch Armed Forces (our official Military State Unit) to improve this Military Unit. Besides that I'll try to keep close contact with our neighbours and the occupator Hungary to avoid mistakes/mis information about ongoing battles.

3. roughly explain the current situation in your government.

It goes fine, but it always can be better. We have talked a lot about our current position in the eWorld with our MoFa. Also I stands next to Willem to help him with the talks with Hungary.
