IND - [MoT – 1] I’m not an engineer, do you trust me?

Technology tends toward avoidance of risks by investors. Uncertainty is ruled out if possible. People generally prefer the predictable. Few recognize how destructive this can be, how it imposes severe limits on variability and thus makes whole populations fatally vulnerable to the shocking ways our universe can throw the dice.Frank Herbert

I was appointed again in a Cabinet of eIndia. My previous task where generally related to … non-important fields (like Love, Education).
Now I got technology. Never mind, I will try my best, especially because I get no task or aim for this Ministry.

As I see things, this Ministry should be part of the Research Wing of India, but this is just a personal wiev.

We play a virtual world/life game here, so there is a lot of technology involved, everything being, in the end, not real, but imaginary (no big difference from RL). The real difference is that here, behind all, is a process which is not controlled by us, but by some machines.

Those machines works with codes, programs and such, either to reproduce a virtual reality, either to depreciate it. Both ways are possible.
The restrictions (regarding the depreciation) of this reality, and the manipulation of the outputs, are enforced by … what we call ADMIN. Some guys and girls put here to regulate our interaction with this game.

So, in few words, if you smart and know to write scripts that will benefit you and give you advantages against others, you will suffer penalties from ADMIN.
This rule do not apply to the changes of game and game mechanics done by ADMIN himself.

There are tools that are nice and harmless (readers counter, help buttons, wiki links, etc.) that are allowed and encouraged, and there are scripts (like those used in markets, to buy at minimum price, or using game bugs – errors in lines of the game) which are not allowed.

Still, temptation is high, and in every country there are stories of successful pirates who made a fortune using such scripts.

Now, to know how to direct this Ministry in future, I would ask you an ethical question.
We should chase errors of the game in our benefit or we should play straight ?

Sure, we could declare one and do the other.
