ECD stated this morning that a supossed Bird Influeza can be found all over Canada.

If this case is really true, what does this mean to the economy?
Should the Canadian government stop importing from foreign countries?
Or is this just a ploy by a general manager of a food company to coerce buyers to buy from a certain Canadian company. All in all, this information seems a little biased coming from someone who would benefit from an end to exports as there is competition as can be seen in the war between Peaceful Intent and LdG, a Portugese exporter.
