I Declare this War Over

I no longer care why and how we got here. Both the eUS and eCanadian governments do not listen to their people or we would not be here. They have lost the right to govern over our family. Let's not let them have their war.
I have a simple solution to our war hungry leaders. If the citizens of the brother countries unite and agree to this simple solution they will not be able to have their war.
“We the citizens of the brother countries of the US and Canada pledge we will never fight to capture the original territory of our brother country. We further pledge, if not breaking an oath, we will fight to defend our brother’s home territory when attacked.”
Let us show our governments that our brotherhood cannot be broken by power hungry politicians.
There is no divorce clause in our bromance!
I suggest we all wear the twin flags below as our avatar until this war is over. We will create a stalemate until there is peace. Either agreed to by this current group of idiots or the next.
The government types will call us traitors, but our governments are the ones that betrayed us. This is not our war.
I will not be ordered to fight for my brother's home. I would rather betray our leaders then my family.

Though my RL Irish pride won't let me wear another flag, pet, sorry.
Try to get the rest of the warmongers to agree on this, I'm only fighting because I do not want to see Canada get wiped, I would rather not fight the US, but sadly we must do what we have to.

You have it all wrong, it isn't a right, it's a game mechanic, and they have the power to do it. That is what sucks about this game, assholes tend to get into the positions that permit them to hit the shiny buttons.

Yup, I'm not really concerned who started what.
We all know it was the hidden agendas of two small groups of players that did this to two rather much larger groups of players.
Majority should rule at this point. And the majority wants peace.

The easiest and quickest way is for the MU's of the two countries to have their daily order set for things other than the Canadian/American battles. Of course that could jeopardize their government funding. It should prove interesting to see which MU's are willing to risk that.

MU leaders on both sides would need to set up a summit to discuss and agree upon this very basic suggestion Etemenanki has. However, both nations would still get supporters, clickers, and MPP fighters doing damage in the battles to keep the war going.
It would take a lot of effort for us little people to force an end to the war. Impeachment with "Declare Peace" option is the fastest and most sure, yet still very hard to get.
