Actually your explanation makes perfect sense. If the last kill was against a tougher than average opponent, it equalling more than 1.3 average kills in damage is definitely possible. He should just have used a bazooka to only do 10,000 damage, and that would have made it possible to get a lot closer to one hundred million pi.
Next challenge for in D2: get 200 million pi damage in one round...

A CO up to 98.4%? I doubt so. The round was won after a few of his hits, and the rest of his hits probably didn't earn anything from the CO.

I don't think forcing D1 to become epic makes sense.
And definitely once it is epic, you would just cancel the DO. In the screenshot there still is a DO.
That's what you would think indeed (both things mentioned). On the 2nd it's however not what happened on several battles I monitored for D4. But i wouldn't know. It could be done for all types of other reasons. And him not scoring a lot from CO is ofc the most likely.
