Join the new world

I recently had a conversation with ANA Party President Philip Francis Exavier Esquire. As party president Philip has several goals for his term in office.

One of those goals was increasing the number of ANA party members elected to congress. The September 25th election resulted in 2 or our candidates being elected (after Philip lost his seat awarded on election night), and three of our candidates each falling a single vote short of being elected (Philip and Marmaduke in Free State, NewSalemHorror in Limpopo). This is a definite improvement over the situation last election where only Ajay Bruno was in congress representing the ANA. The second goal, the one Philip is currently focusing on, is to improve our party’s image and acceptance in eSA. The ANA must rehabilitate its image to the people of eSA if we are to have any chance of being treated seriously or having our ideas on how to advance eSA considered.

There are members of our party that currently have very behaved in unacceptable ways towards others citizens of eSA. Some members of our party have used insults, had heated arguments, and engaged in other despicable behavior. We are asking that if you are one of these people, you must forgive and forget any past transgressions - real or imagined – deserved or undeserved - from other citizens towards you that have caused you to behave in this manner. Repeatedly bringing up past slights, re-issuing old insults, and rehashing old arguments serves no purpose other than to produce anger and disgust towards both yourself and the ANA as a whole. The ANA expects our members to engage in a civil debate on the future of eSA. People who either cannot or will not do so are not welcome in the party. While there is no in game mechanic to remove citizens from a party, the party as a whole can and will ignore members who continue to behave this way – effectively removing them from the party operations.

At the same time I am asking the citizens of eSA at large to also try to hit the “reset” button with your opinion of the ANA. The ANA is no longer run by its old leaders. Under Party President Philip Francis Exavier Esquire we are actively trying to reform the party. We are working on establishing our party as a true eSA party – one dedicated to making eSA a strong and successful nation. We are also working on getting hold of and control over our rouge party members. The ANA is asking that you give us a chance to prove this to you and that you maintain an open mind.
