Has it really come to this?

Day 90, 04:35 Published in Canada Romania by BogdanFV

Even though Canada is not a third world country, it is forced to import from Sweden and France foods that most Canadians can't even afford after a day's wage. Sitting at raround $2.35, food packs from three star producers Carrefour and SEGO Groceries are really a hit to the stomach for the working class.
The cheap, low quality food coming from Portugal isn't any cheaper sitting around the dollar mark.

Where are Canada's food companies at the moment? I refuse to buy imported food, as Made in Canada is the way to a better economy.
