Join the new world

Hello America and more specifically AMPers,

So in my last article I officially announced that I am running for Party President of The AMP and announced my cabinet, which can be found HERE. There was one thing I didn’t touch on and that was what my goals are if I become PP. Since the Primary on the forum has started I feel like you should know that if you vote for me you should know what I hope to accomplish should I be elected so lets get down to business then.

Getting activity up is my main goal for the month. I plan doing what I can to help get forum and IRC activity up. I will try to accomplish this by posting more topics on the forums that are worth talking about, IRC I will actively try to greet members when they join the room and will try to have talks in there but like any room it will have time no one is talking but I want to avoid just hours of silence it looks bad and it bores new players that join in. I also plan to message every new member that joins and tell them about the forums #AMP and encourage them to join us. Activity is important it keeps players around and if activity is down membership will go down with it.

Getting people involved in party leadership. I want to start teaching members how to work in departments and help them achieve their goals in this game by setting them up for success, but they have to start somewhere and in a party is the best place to do that. I have told the people I have picked for my cabinet to look for deputies and people they want to help them in the teams that they need. I am encouraging them to teach them to run the job if need be and maybe down the road they can take over it and then who knows the possibilities after that.

Increase in party membership. I am not going to say to move up a spot in the ranking of the parties, as much as I would like to say that I can do that I think this goal is to much of a promise. I want to just try to increase the number of party members and increase the number of active members. With recruitment being a focus for me I am going to have recruitment working in a team and have them going hard and retention doing what they can to make everything active to encourage people to stay.


More people means more fun

More media presence and communication between leadership and members. I plan to write a few articles for the month, and having a few party president addresses as well to let the members know what is going on and the decisions leadership is making. Media will have a team working on papers and they will be producing a couple articles a week about updates on the party.

Congress activity. I plan to encourage members to run for congress and plan to message members personally that I believe would be a good fit to run for congress if they have not done so recently in the past. I want to get the best the AMP has to offer into congress.

So there you go those are my main goals if I win and become PP next month. So I hope I have your vote this month. If I do win I hope to make the AMP proud and plan to work hard at the job.
