Game updates-"civil war" aka Bot take over

Day 2,653, 08:33 Published in Bulgaria Bulgaria by Stolch

So the long awaited earth shattering "civil war" update is upon us. After reading through the whole thing, which I'm sure the admins have no idea what sort of game mechanic changes they have unleashed, the one thing that jumps out straight at you is that this is not really a civil war, but a straight forward military take over of other countries.

Why would you need to work 1 year, to force others to change sides, when you can pay 200K and take over the country in 24 hours. Congrats USA, you'll the one of the first to go, meet your Serbian overlords, though you're not the primary target of this change, which is Macedonia and Greece.

However as destructive as this can be for a given country and it's finances, the "unintended consequences" (well assuming this is not the point to begin with which might not be as far fetched as it might seem at this point), is that most national communities can be entirely destroyed and countries crippled permanently for 200K.

Basically a Dictator can put in 99% taxes across the board and kill the economy, force players to change CS and generally destroy the country within a week, without needing even a CS for that country. Also the minimum wage can be set at any value thus killing the labour market too...

The cost is 200K, but after taking over any country with more then 50 players, the cost can be recovered by ransacking the government orgs, which now makes them absolutely useless for any small and medium countries to store resources for wagging war. In addition any new taxes will be siphoned as well.

Someone will say now that you need a "local" MU to start the whole process, well that's the easiest thing to do, all you need is one multy registered in the target country which is levelled up enough to be able to create a MU, then transfers that MU to it's "sponsors".

In general national countries and communities stop existing with this update, because the only way to protect one self against being robbed by bot armies is to get together with other countries into a large enough mass of players that it would be hard to win such an attempt. This of course is what will finish off this game, as the only reason many of the players hang around is because of the diverse local communities which though in death throbs, still exist.

Lastly but not least of all, MUs have become irrelevant now, as players will be required to constantly move from one "allied" MU to another to defend a country against someone, loosing any real attachment to any MU in particular in the process.

Not to stop there, the political module has become useless now too, as one of the key roles of the congress is the control over CS, which while still allowing to PTO, did make it hard to achieve in medium and large countries and most importantly very time consuming, now it will be virtually instantaneous (again congrats USA for becoming a Serbian colony even if you don't know it yet).

In short.... never mind, we've grown accustomed to such utter stupidity long ago, though I'm not sure the community can withstand even as masochistic as it is much more of this monstrous moronity.

Solutions.... never mind x2, no point in wasting my time, as we well know there is no one that listens and nothing will be implemented unless someone pays for it.
