eUSA is a Joke
ResouIa
Majorities, minorities. Blah, blah, blah. Every time the minority in this nation's congress fails to get what they want and gets angry, the majority yells "It's just a game! Get over it!" Or "Roleplaying is for losers" if directed to SFP.
When the minority gets what they want, the majority doesn't seem to think this is just a game anymore. And they certainly embrace roleplaying.
They call freedom fighters Tyrants. (See the contradiction there?)
They result to base insults.
But more importantly I believe, is that they result to doing anything, no matter HOW crazy, how damaging to our nation, in order to get their way.
They are trying to blacklist some of the most active and enthusiastic players in the country.
If you've been in congress in the past, you'll realize how hypocritical this vote is. Many people suddenly changed their minds now that it supported them and only them.
Pfeiffer calls for max taxes.
And WOW I hope this is a joke.
Several people have suggested impeaching Gnilraps. This would hand over the nation to RGR. They would rather have public enemy #1 as CP rather than the CP that won the elections, and broke no laws.
Aramec suggests doing something I can't tell you about if you can't view this cause I'll get censured. But let me assure you that it is the most anti-American and self-destructive action I have ever heard be seriously proposed in congress other than "MAX TAXES".
I'd like to give a huge thank you to TDK for summing up exactly how I feel about the people trying to kill our nation today. @ Pfeiffer and friends
I don't like Tom very much right now after reading some blatant lies he said about my party, but I agree very much with something he shouted.
I am a Co-National Security Council chairman right now. I am semi in charge of helping keep this country protected. I have been BURIED in PMs from all over. This transition has been a mess. I've had a lot of work dumped on me today which I decided to do rather than studying for a final in college. I was putting the protection and military organization of this nation before a lot of things I shouldn't have. And I looked at the nation I was serving and you know what I saw? I saw children fighting. USWP is crying cause for 10 days they won't get what they want. Someone stood up against them in a way that they can't control, and they are very mad about it. And SFP? SFP ignored the law. The law may be unjust, but why break it when you know the majority of congress will gladly watch the country burn if it somehow negatively affects you rather than give you what you want for a second?
SFP has taken a mentality of "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees." I HATE that saying.
Here's how this saying SHOULD go, "I'd rather live on my feet than die on my knees."
That's how things are supposed to be. That's logical. But extremists don't think logically.
That's why Pfeiffer and friends are trying to burn our nation to the ground since they can't stop SFP from restoring democracy. They'd rather take as many of their neighbors with them rather than just for once in their life BE REASONABLE.
All of you need to STOP.
SFP/BearCav stop breaking the laws. You want things changed? Change them correctly. Starting a civil war while we have a RW in North Korea and are being invaded by Chile is NOT a good idea and has made national security a REAL hassle.
Anti-SFP stop your incompetent self-destruction of eUSA and accept that you got BEAT. Just beat them back in 10 days. Why do you have to tear everything down in a tantrum in response to losing for once?
What the hell is wrong with you, eUSA?
I am going to continue my term as NSC Chair and do what is best for this country regardless of your feelings.
For example. The fight in Papua? IS NOT A PRIORITY. AND NEITHER IS THIS CIVIL WAR. (I'm too tired to pull up the quote of Aramec stating that the current administration was "ignoring" Chile and the CW.) Why is this not a priority? How about do what your democratically majority-elected government tells you and don't argue? Thats what many of you have told me over the past every time I support something you don't like. There are real reasons and I've said them already, but most of you anti-SFPers trying to tear down this nation really aren't worth the explanation right now.
All LOYAL Americans fight HERE
ALL LOYAL AMERICANS STOP FIGHTING EACH OTHER. That means in the CW, on my friends feed, in your articles, and on the forums.
ALL LOYAL AMERICANS, STOP THE TEMPER TANTRUMS AND GO THE F*** TO SLEEP! Maybe some sleep will make you all act more rational...lol who am I kidding?
I have never seen the active population of eUSA act so irrational, so self-destructive, and so dramatic in my entire eLife. It really needs to stop. You morons are burning this nation to the ground and you don't even care.
Congratulations eUSA, you're a joke.

Here's for staying patriotic. Somebody's got to look out for the nation when its people are tearing it apart. Don't be a part of the problem, be a part of the solution.

Let's find a mediator to talk through the issue.
If only it were that simple. But sadly the congressional majority never compromises.
Are you really saying a NORTH KOREAN MPP Battle is our top priority? A colony, BY CHOICE - which will fight for us to hold their territories is more important than an INVASION BY CHILE or maintaining the thing that keeps us safe from PTO?
Truly Resoula, you are a great NSC chair.
[removed]
Nevermind I went WAY too hard on you LOL. Let me try again without all the animosity.
That prio was picked by me, A^2, and Gnil. Please respect that. Thank you very much for your time.
It doesn't mean it's a tactical priority of any value whatsoever. If anything it fits into the broader opinion being developed in the meta that Gnilraps actively aided and abated the Civil War.
Respectfully, you are not involved in the extensive conversation of now approximately 100 PMs that have been sent within the administration over our currently military situation. Therefore there is a lot you do not know.
This situation is still actively developing so I unfortunately cannot say anything for certain yet except that FOR NOW we are NOT focusing Chile in any Indo-core battle.
I'm 100% aware of what's going on Resoula. It doesn't mean I agree with priorities of the administration or your judgement calls. With respect again, some of us have much, much, more experience then you in such matters.
I am sure you do. I personally was going to make Chile the #1 priority, but had no access to COs, therefore there was no point. You cannot beat Chile without COs. And now that situation will see different resolutions.
Hey, what happened to our Chile war? Oh yeah, we are losing right now because we are wasting our time on bull$hit.
Blame our friends in the SFP for that
I blame SFP for escalating the situation. I blame the congressional majority for refusing to compromise with their candidate.
It took two moves to get where we are now. Neither side is in the right here, no matter how much they both think they are. (Which in these comments alone you can see they both clearly do.)
You blame Congress for upholding a previous law of theirs?
Sometimes one side is just wrong, maybe not in how the dialogue has been carried, but in content. The Legislative branch has a right to legislate. The executive has no right to break those laws without facing punishment. That's basic rule of law and separation of powers. There need be no compromise there.
Stop putting words in my mouth Paul. Let me follow my own advice and get some sleep before you start putting words in my mouth. Gnilraps offered a compromise, a way to experiment and find out if the nation could be kept safe without a dictatorship for one month (Note he offered a COMPROMISE, not to get rid of the dictatorship). The congressional majority refused to compromise, and now they suffer the consequences. The equally wrong Bear Cav MU ended the dictatorship anyway.
I'm speaking from a moderate voice. You need to look past your own opinion.
"You blame Congress for upholding a previous law of theirs?" So please never put these words in my mouth again.
I am clearly saying that I blame congress for refusing to compromise. They have always been allergic to compromise, and it has never benefited them. Now more than ever.
I never try to put words in your mouth.
"The congressional majority refused to compromise, and now they suffer the consequences."
Congress discussed Gnilrap's proposal and voted it down. That is within their right.
What Bearcav has done has been treasonous.
Moderate voices are good, I have never in my 6 years playing thought of myself as anything but a moderate.
But sometimes, the truth does not lie in the middle. My opinion comes from no inherent hatred of Gnil or the SFP, I've voted for Gnil before, I've interviewed him I've lauded him.
My opinion comes from how galling, depressing, and kafka-esque this past week has been.
The fact that JA Lake is following this voting all your posts is perhaps evidence that downplaying this as "both sides are wrong" is well within the interests of those who actually have harmed the eUS and broken laws to do so 😁
I'm voting for the parts that lay the blame at the meta-game's feet, for the record. As you were 😛
"Congress discussed Gnilrap's proposal and voted it down. That is within their right." Yes they were. They were in their right to refuse to compromise, and look where it got them? They, with a very unreasonable action, provoked SFP into performing an equally unreasonable action.
Neither side HAD to do what they did, but they did it anyway. It is not downplaying to blame both sides, since it is both sides faults logically. Any non-involved party that has no emotional attachment to either side can clearly see that.
To blame only one side, "The other side", is to downplay the situation. It is to take half of those involved in the history that led us to this moment and put all the blame on them.
J.A. lake is a very reasonable person, which is why he is voting what I say. Many in SFP are reasonable. Some of the louder ones aren't. I have seen SFP try to compromise many times. I guarantee you that if SFP was the congressional majority, they would not have taken the first action that led to "The other" to escalating this situation. They would have been a better majority, honestly.
But in the situation we find ourselves in now? Both sides are in the wrong. No many how much anyone tries to deny it. That's common sense. That's logic. And I will always defend logic over opinion.
So you feel that Congress should just give in to SFP and let them do whatever they want?
There's no reasonable in treason, nor open defiance of the law. Come on Resoula, you know that.
@Buttered Toast
Is "compromise" really so hard to grasp in your minds? No where did I ever suggest that the majority repeal the dictatorship they voted in.
You hear "compromise" and your minds convert it to "Lose" "give up" "Throw away". I think I need to buy the congressional majority some dictionaries.
You fucking misspelled bullshit.
Here here.
They never cared about the nation only about retaining their control on everyone else playing the game.
★★★★ Baaaa o7 ★★★★
As opposed to SFP who just wants to watch the world burn?
Both sides are in the wrong. Plain and simple. Both sides put their own interests before the interests of the CP, the overall administration, and the nation.
Mr. Orikfricai,
I never wished to "watch the world burn", but when I first joined the SFP, it became increasingly clear how ostracized they were kept by certain high level government officials.
The extreme acts we are seeing on both sides are a result of the desperate lack of compromise between the two parties. Alright, the SFP will have to look at its policy, but they have to be let to the table to talk, not just censured everytime that criticism arises.
Sincerely,
John Gregorson
Somebody call?
This article seems like an over-reaction to an over-reaction to an over-reaction.
Mass hysteria. Always better with inception.
Please be sure to touch base with the Sec Defense asap.
Contrary to popular belief, the cabinet has been functioning normally. The transition has been slow, but functioning.
I have spoken to him 😛
In case you thought my belief was popular, that would be contrary.
Thank you.
I was not referring to you 🙂 moreover keeping in mind everything I had read yesterday when I posted that.
PTO the SFP! They're forcing their political beliefs on the eUS through force. They have decided to ignore the will of our democratically elected congress and instead pursue their selfish and thuggish agenda. They're a threat to this nation, and need to be taken down.
It's people like you that hinder any real political change in our country. You ignore the will of the eAmerican electorate.
That's because it no longer suits him 😛
No SFP ignores the electorate. By starting this coup they are actively going against the laws created by the democratically elected congress.
Whereas my party, USWP, received the most votes of any party. So no it is you who ignore the will of the people, by using armed force to get what you want, rather than acting through the legitimate political channels that are already established.
SFP's disregard for democracy is sickening, and shows their real colors as those who feel as if they can act without the consideration of the people's representatives and laws.
Where I am from we call those people authoritarians, and thugs. SFP embodies that by knowingly subverting the will of those who the people of the eUS democratically elected to represent them.
Hey SColbert remember that time you broke the law and changed the rules so YOU could force your beliefs on people? aka the Dicatorship law when you were SoH. I remember. Your posts recently have been absolutely ridiculous. Get over yourself.
Tom I have broken no laws. I wish you could say the same for yourself.
My term as SoH was not without controversy, but those who thought I did wrong were not even able to muster 10 people to approve a proposal to bring a vote of no confidence on me. BSP had the numbers, those who do not like me in WTP had the numbers. Yet I was not touched. Then just to solidify my legitimacy as SoH the congress voted 3 different times to reaffirm that I was in fact the chosen Speaker.
I would recommend you get over yourself Tom. Your disgustingly selfish actions yesterday have shown that you care more about using force to instill your beliefs on this country then keeping it safe from foreign takeover, and the legitimacy of the democratic process.
I have come to regret ever suggesting to Trekker that you become Secretary of Media during his term. I guess I was wrong about you.
like you dont have a selfish agenda.
wow, you really are the biggest selfish guy around, unreal.
that is made pretty clear by all the panic moves you and your elitist friends took the last year.
My agenda is to keep our nation safe, and respect the rule of law as set about by congress. SFP has acted against both of those by recklessly opening us up to the possibility of a foreign takeover of our government, and spitting on the legitimacy of the legislature the people have elected to represent them.
I cannot imagine anything more selfish than what SFP has just done. They have decided to thrust their agenda on our nation through force. Their actions are truly disgusting to all those that respect democracy.
@SColbert.. Says the one that changed the rules to illegally pass a law that you liked and also the one who turned a blind eye when his buddies did the exact same thing not very long ago. You forget about that?
You may feel like what you do is for the best of the country as you see it but do not lie and act like you've not had a hand in the mess that is the eusa gov't.
basically everyone is mad at SFP because we didn't go about things the meta way and use the election of the CP in game as the will of the people in game, not just the meta. While I disagree with some of the article vote and endorsed for great writing as usual.
They're mad at SFP for undermining their power in the lair of eUSA forums. And they're trying to burn the nation rather than let SFP win. Childish at best. SFP's candidate did win the majority.
But then again, starting a CW when your CP candidate publicly announced he would no longer support it? Is that rational? I don't believe it is, personally.
Technically, Gnil won with a plurality, not a majority, but that does not nullify your point. More of the people supported his candidacy than that of anyone else. USWP may have the largest number of congress members, but they also do not have a majority, although there is arguably a coalition of parties that most often vote together. I sadly must agree with you and several others I have seen commenting on the situation today. Both sides are wrong, and each is hurting the country in its own way. Two wrongs do not make a right.
"Two wrongs do not make a right."
Thank you.
Good stuff. Agreed with most of it!
I've never had more fun on this game than I did today. I feel like that's the same with a lot of other people. As far as I'm concerned, we made positive change today. Entertainment and activity happened today, with the setup for more activity and entertainment in the future. We've accomplished what the last five or so administrations have failed to do in as many months in two days.
Feels good to be free of an obligation to that forum. That's the true freedom xD
