Motto:
Talking about eHouses
The advantage is to have more wellness every day, so you could work/fight more = consume more food and weapons = spend more in game.
In addition, this came to a certain cost, because in order to have a house, you must invest in (at least) one raw material for construction company and (at least) one construction of houses company (= min 20 gold). + Employees to create raw materials and then build house (you could not do that yourself) and this is the reason why payments on labor market increase.

Now, I finally arrived here (to quote myself). This is the greatest achievement in this game, I believe, and a medal should be awarded for that.

Because I spooked (already) about moral and ethics, I will continue to quote other (greater) thinker on economics, because I want to explain this deal about the Houses and the so-called advantages they bring to us.

” Man is an animal that makes bargains: no other animal does this - no dog exchanges bones with another.” – Adam Smith.

That mean that Roxy (the dog of RD1234) would not let the rats from around the houses he guard to have any piece of his bones, nor will exchange (either in profit or loss) those bone with another dog, that is responsible of guarding another house.
In economic terms, it is up to us to let us used by others, or not, in the sense of labor or consumer of goods produced by others.
Regarding Houses, here is weird that we could not create our own Home (as all ppl in the RL do - at least they could imagine it).

“It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest.” – Adam Smith

So, I understand that we could not expect Plato to be benevolent to us. Also I understand we must consider the interest of Plato and adjust our behavior accordingly.

“Labor was the first price, the original purchase - money that was paid for all things. It was not by gold or by silver, but by labor, that all wealth of the world was originally purchased.” – Adam Smith

Now the true fundament of all the wealth is explained, and revealed. We could understand now why our “advantage” of having more wellness and the freedom to inflict more damage, will increase the distance between us and those who produce those goods.

All this because:
“No society can surely be flourishing and happy, of which the far greater part of the members are poor and miserable.” – Adam Smith
And
“The real tragedy of the poor is the poverty of their aspirations.” – Adam Smith

How Amartya Sen developed those ideas, the poor ppl could not be, and are not, free, because they are restrained by them poor condition. Without money to assure them the daily food, they could not even think at the development of them personality, to increase them knowledge, etc.
In other words, if a newbie is in lack of food, he will not think at all those things I wrote here, because he is driven (in this game) by the will to “action”, meaning to became rich and famous, a great hero, a leader, etc. Also he is not aware that this will lead him to poverty, loss of liberties, etc.
So, when a MU or a rich (e) person make a proposition to him, consisting in getting free food and weapons, he sign (unaware and not willing to be aware) the contract with the evil, disregarding the consequences. In time, he will consider this situation of him like the normal one, the one that is right and just.

So, this is the advantages of any kind of new gadgets that Plato invent here
