Let me be succinct. Rylde had his two terms as dictator. He had agreed to step down. He did not. Now he speaks in a condescending manner to the players of Canada that have been running things forever. These people were his cabinet before he became dictator and then they were on his dictator council. He has made it plain that unless someone takes it away he will be dictator for as long as he pleases.

I'm not planning on giving anything back. I'm going to use up everything I've collected in over 4 years in eRep to put on a helluva show.

The Game Mechanics have changed and it doesn't matter how things had been "running forever". It's a good thing though, even though this article is heavily biased towards making Rylde seem honorless. The fact of the Dictator Module is that it just happens to heavily favor the play style of people like Rylde.
You can't blame the player in this case, you blame the game (for as much as that would serve you anyways).
It is going to be fun, that I do agree on. I thank Rylde for that mostly, I don't think we'd have such a heated divide without some incorrigible defiance on his part. The rest of you old farts are too diplomatic, it's boring. But we need all types, so I say that as lovingly as possible.
Well the game's crap to be sure. I'm not looking to blame anyone and I generally like Rylde's play style. It's just that he usually goes off the day deep end attacking another country.
