Day 1,730 | Something or Other | The Ambassador's Corps

Day 1,730

The ambassador’s corps seems to me like a rather decent idea, and for a couple reasons.

1. It would take some of the workload of the CP by not having to message every country CP directly in order to make decisions between the two nations, it would be an enormous benefit so that the CP would be able to focus domestically more than internationally.
2. He retains his far-right party standing by reducing the amount government is included in the running of the country.
3. The ambassadors can manage to obtain international experience in order to make better players in the future.

However, the ambassador’s corps advantages are also it’s disadvantages;

1. By allowing the government to be self sufficient and less relying upon the CP, it allows more room for individual error that could seriously harm the country’s international relations. I’m not saying that the CP himself could not do this, I’m saying the possibility is larger because there are more people involved.
2. The CP could exercise direct control over the players (however unlikely given that this would ruin the whole purpose of the ambassadors corps)
3. The ambassadors themselves could manage to be corrupted, taking money/gold or favors for information on the inner workings of the country. Not only would this be bad, but it would be harder to catch the traitors given that it’s hard to follow someone down the street to a meeting place on the internet to exchange secrets.

I hope you take my article into consideration before making your decision on your standing on the ambassador’s corps bill.

See ya in 3 days!
