Day 1,706 | Something or Other

Day 1,706, 23:57 Published in Canada Canada by Corrigan Brown

It seems I never have anything good to report on, maybe it was nicer when the most exciting thing that ever happened in the world was Spain completely taking over Portugal. Instead we have an old friend recently turned enemy that has long since crossed the threshold and has now sat itself down completely uninvited within the sitting room if you’ll excuse the analogy. Yes Ladies and Gentlemen we are at war, and this time it’s much closer to home than we’d like to think. After a long and tiring battle in Manitoba they have established their foothold within the country and are now attempting to cut off Ontario from the rest of Canada by taking Quebec. It’s a smart move really and to be quite honest, it’s what I’d do.

Around the beginning of the campaign I decided that I’d earn my first battle hero medal by tanking Vermont. To all the MDP and Coalition people out there who will almost certainly comment on the offensive, insulting me for gaining the highest influence in a battle that wasn’t even supposed to be a battle, I’d like to make a couple points;
1. My only regret is that I didn’t save my energy bars, bazookas and rocket for the campaign in Manitoba where my resources might have been better spent.
2. The false campaign didn’t work.
Other than that I’d like to thank the player (who shall remain nameless) for sending me a message reminding me of the fact that it was a false campaign and adding some well received butchering of the English language, you really brightened my day.

In news other than that Spain has successfully completely taken over Portugal once again, resuming the full occupation that had been set in place a while ago. Nothing more to discuss.

On the British front they’ve managed to reclaim London and are working at recover the rest of their country. It’s hard to work to do something like that, but we might know exactly what it’s like in a little bit.

See you in three days.
