Day 1,702 | Something or Other | Was it Worth It?

Day 1,702, 23:39 Published in Canada Canada by Corrigan Brown

I write in a disappointed state, today I feel no humor, I feel no need to neither point out the raging irony nor wish to subtly insult any Mexicans (sorry by the way). I do not wish to analyze the current warfare situation on the world front nor report on the present state of resistance wars in eSwitzerland. My focus today sways towards internal affairs.

Guess what ladies and gentlemen, it has finally happened. We are at war with eUS. Just for the record, wonderful! We have declared war on a nation that we could call our oldest friend and thus ruined the prospects of keeping an independent nation, statistically speaking we’re royally F**ked. I honestly couldn’t care less about any conspiracy about a rogue MDP congressman that proposed an act to make the eUSA a natural enemy of eCanada, I don’t care if Rylde had anything to do with it or if Rolo planned it I really don’t. What’s done is done and can’t be undone and we have to live with the consequences of our actions, and unfortunately we have to live with the consequences of the actions of others. Sucks doesn’t it?

Thus are the dangers of politics ladies and gentlemen, even though everything takes a long effing time to happen, it only takes one person to destroy everything that your country stands for. The worst part is we can’t do anything about it, for all we know we have just handed our country over on a silver platter. I have a question now, was it worth it? Was all the gold, money and weapons enough to satisfy your temporary personal yearnings? You sir/madam have damned us all.

Now I can honestly say that despite all of the day’s events, I will fight. I will fight for the country I call home, I will fight with every last breath left in my body until we have them on the run or we get overrun. But when the ashes clear I will see the person I address now, and I will ask them very quietly: was it worth it?

WELL THEN?! WAS IT WORTH IT?
