CP Update: The Loaded Gun

The gun is loaded. I would like to thank everyone who contributed energy to our Air Strike fund. The support for the Air strike fund was overwhelming. We basically raised $150,000 CC worth of energy in just over a week.
Only one thing left to do now, right? Just pull the damn trigger. Actually we need to line up the support to make sure we have a successful launch. This is being done as we speak. I realize a lot of this money has been sitting locked in the fund for a while but this does not diminish the responsibility of doing all we can to ensure that we don’t waist this opportunity.
No strike will be without risk. There are no guarantee’s we will not inspire the wrath of our targets allies. There is no point picking a mean nothing target for the sake of some TP points. This will get us zero support from our own allies and make us just like the bullies we despise in this game.
The “where”, planning has been done. Support from our allies is being built as we speak. The “when” is the last piece of the plan. This involves co-ordination with allies to optimize the chance of success. An Air Strike is like a shining beacon in the night that will attract full enemy resistance.
We need to be prepared and fully united to make this a success.
Netherlands:
The Netherlands has been NE’d by Poland on their home regions. Once again we see how TWO treats small communities in this game. The Netherlands rental regions in Canada have once again become their life line as we had originally intended.
Please honour our agreement with the Netherlands and grant them the refuge they have been promised and paid for.
There is talk about moving the Netherlands regions in Canada to diminish the Resistance Bonus problem. This should be a useful solution to the bonus gain problem and is being looked at logistically.

UK doesn't have a say in what goes on in your alliance is how I see it. Spain was the one who took care of your business for you. I would be much happier to say we got wiped by Spain, and were fucked over by the US then to be in your stilettos and say we can't do this, someone wipe Canada for us!

I need education. The longer the Netherlands occupies a region the greater the Resistance Bonus and the easier it is to take the region back. I'm not sure why that is a problem.
Presumably a high Resistance Bonus tile could provide inducements to start a "false" resistance war. If that happens you simply move them to a different region at that point instead of doing so many times in anticipation. Is the difficulty one of timing NE declarations?
Minimum time for a RW campaign is 12 hours. Takes 24 for an RW to pass.
24 hours for an NE to pass I meant to say of course.
continuing education request:
1. who is most likely to start a resistance war in a high Bonus region? a) enemies of eCanada; b) enemies of the tenant i.e. Poland or c) eCanadian players acting contrary to government wishes?
2. What is the downside for eCanada if a RW is begun and pursued successfully?
3. Is the moving around scenario most beneficial to the tenant and is it a policy goal which is being actively pursued by them?

Wipe Spain by the end of the weekend, Poland by Xmas, Serbia by new year + the world by January 21st.
