Well further to the Dictator/CP change over and with the CP elections closing soon I thought it would be wise to show the poll for any final comments from the community

Of the people who voted then general feeling is to allow the medal and use the 50 gold as a bonus to the country funds.

If you want to change the outcome then go to the forums to make the choice

Yep, 30 people in congress thread in-game about 13 have spoken and a couple of them only spoken once. Shows that only a few even care and game is as dead as forums

The money doesn't come from the country, and the person holding the position saves 2 lots of 200k to make us less vulnerable, so shouldn't they be entitled to Plato gold?

They dont save us 400k as we can be over thrown at any stage. Also if we had no dic there are congress members who give the country their 5 gold medal which we are now missing out on

As written in the congress threads and put here for the public explanation:

Even though only a hand full of people decided to vote and the majority of them voted Yes, even though JackTrout has asked me to stay so the government can earn it's 50g. I have decided to not go by the vote of JT's request. I will be leaving office now.

This is mainly due to a handful of people comparing this act JT wanted to do, to help Australia earn another 14k or so, to help the country. But instead it has led people to cry foul (why do they want to rob Australia of 14k I do not understand?), people to compare JackTrout and me to others who instead of giving to the country, held it to ransom and then still took a private pay out for them to release the country.

So instead, rather then JT deal with the bullshit a few will stir, I will step down and force him to make the dic role. But as people know me, I will not turn my back on Australia and screw it over like others did.

This money is from my own pocket, as I stated before, it is an honour to serve the country. And I am not someone who thinks Australia 'owes' me, even though I did move back from my sabbatical 2 terms ago to help someone else....

Enjoy and for Christ sake, stop acting like little bitches and start to focus on the country and not your petty issues. This congress is getting worse then NEBULA with its little personal fights and issues (yes I know not everyone is like this)
