Day 2,266, 22:36 Published in USA USA by Tyler Bubblar

I'd like to start by saying that I am sincerely, enthusiastically, and happily announcing my support for WildOwl and his reelection bid. He's done an amazing job this month, and it's obvious to many that he's the best choice to lead us in February. This has kept others on the Presidential sidelines. Some have lamented the lack of competition in the CP electoral arena as of late. After Frost's term of excellence we had a free for all race. At one point I believe 7 people were competing to be the next CP. I myself was one of the seven. Even at the time I was campaigning for the job it was my belief that NewAzazel, and WildOwl were the two best candidates. It was my opinion that whoever of those two won the other would likely be the next Potus. That's exactly how it played out.

I'd like to take a moment to touch on my own personal involvement in the CP races as of late. I ran against NewAzazel in a primary for the Federalist Party endorsement for Potus. It was a very close race. After taking an honest look at the state of our country and my own strengths and weaknesses as compared to NewAzazel, I decided to concede the primary to him. I hasten to add that at the time of my concession NewAzazel was up by a pair of votes. It is not my intention to imply that NewAzazel won because I stepped aside. It's likely he would have gone on to win had I stayed in until the primary concluded. It was clear to me NewAzazel was the better pick so I stepped aside, and quietly resolved to prepare for a run in December.

During the two terms of NewAzazel's Presidency, I served as Secretary of Homeland Security. I very much enjoyed working across Party lines, and witnessing first-hand the cooperation and selflessness that we as a nation are capable of. As December approached I began to put together my campaign for CP. Before I announced I was approached by my good friend WildOwl. We've worked together on a great many things at the Congressional level for quite some time. We have a long relationship built on trust, respect, and loyalty. WildOwl made his intent to run for CP known to me, and asked for my support. It was a no brainer. Very good friend that is better qualified for the job than I considered myself to be. I wanted to be CP, but I'd rather help a more deserving friend achieve that goal than put myself forward.

I was not planning on announcing my intentions for a run at the White House so soon. A recent article published by Aramec has pushed my timetable up a few weeks. The table has been set. While it's true I have not been on the CP ballot the past several election cycles that doesn't mean I don't care about who is CP or even not have some ambition for the job myself. However, as has I believe already been illustrated I've been actively engaged in working under and learning from those I considered the right people at the right time for the job. At the same time I've been actively engaged in strengthening the community of my own party. All of these things have helped me to prepare and grow. By March 5th I will be ready, and in my belief the best person for the job. So to Aramec and any other contenders I say to you........
