Count Drakula in Y&H

Day 455, 09:47 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Count Drakula

Citizens of Yorkshire and Humberside,

With the recent announcement of Indiekid leaving to India there will be a new congressman. I hope that you will pick me. Some of my policies include:

Including and promoting you on the forums and in game:
I believe that if people work together we can great a better big picture. If you vote me in, I vote for our region so you choose how your country is shaped. I will be as constructive as I can on any laws that citizens would like to be passed.

Combining the loose ends between the forums and the game:
I think that it is all well and good that Indiekid asks for reports and all but we could put them into the Yorkshire Evening Post and therefore have them on certain days meaning that there would always be one article per day.

Also I know that Indiekid did a great job as councillor of entertainment and this next bit is not insulting him or anything. Perhaps we could bring the entertainment in-game, for the citizens who are starting off and haven't had a chance to sign up for the forums yet.

Council Positions:
As most of the younger citizens and people active on the forums know that two of the people running this month are in the York City Council. If I and Robalbinio were to get into congress then we would need 3 new Councillor’s for the YCC because all the current councillors are doing very well. I will give positions to people who are:

Active on both the forums and in game,
Know what they’re doing is important and will spend time on it,
Meet Deadlines

I do however have some ideas for new Councillors and I hope that they will apply for these jobs:

Councillor of health-David Forde: A new and hard working citizen. However now that David can't do the job instead I believe that Draco5006 could do it because he is an active young and hard working member of our community.
Councillor of Entertainment-Jaden87: A new person to the region who is committed to becoming involved in our community.

I am very good with numbers and am efficient at working out budgets for each Councillor. However each Councillor will have a maximum of 150 Gbp per month to spend except for the CoH who will get190Gbp per month. These councilors must apply for funds from the congressmen for any scheme they wish to undertake. This will then be either approved and given money or disapproved and given a reason why not and suggestions what they could do to get funds.

“It’s only fair that I should give a reference to all those that wish to run for congress and have done a great job over the past few months. When CD first started he and I got into loads of arguments. He didn’t really understand the game mechanics and the way the game worked. He was stubborn and wouldn’t change his beliefs. I have the pleasure of knowing him in real life and know he is a good person at heart. So that month, he stood for congress. I beat him by one vote, which was incredibly close and showed he’d run a good campaign, albeit with some strange ideas. However since then, he has taken up a place on my council, and thrown himself into his work, has become an active poster on our forums and across the political scene and I feel that a congress eat will see his transformation into a mature, respected citizen be complete. So if you are looking for someone to represent you alongside Robalinio in congress then CD is your man. He is hard working and will make Y&H a place to be even more proud of.” Indiekid-MDU Congressman for Y&H, MDU Member, Royal Guard Member, Joint MDU Membership director and a good friend.
