Congress Elections; Column of djirtsdew!

Day 2,591, 04:06 Published in Netherlands Slovakia by Willem The Conqueror

Dear Readers,

As always, The Eye of Tomorrow tries to publish a column just before the congress elections, and here it is again. This time djirtsdew, Party President of Democratisch Nederland, has written a column for us about the elections.

I hope you'll enjoy it and learn something from it, here it comes:

Like every month the congress elections will be on the 25th. This month it'll also be Christmas, so I definitely understand that you may prefer to spend your time offline rather than on eRepublik. However, voting takes only a few minutes... And your vote determines how the eNetherlands will be governed next month. So I say: please vote!

The other party presidents and myself have been busy during the past few days to make sure our parties have gathered the best possible candidates. That was extra important this month, as we have all of our regions again, and will therefore have a full congress of 40 seats. On top of that, there still is the threat eminating from Lord Jale. If he manages to get into congress he can yet again cause some chaos...
But while I'm writing this, he's not yet on any party's candidate list, so hopefully nothing will happen.

Who to vote?
Yes, that is something you'll have to determine yourself. What I personally find the best way to make up my mind is to check what a party has actually done in the past month(s). How have they voted, how active are their congress members, do you agree with their viewpoints? With access to the eNetherlands forum you can get all of this information: as eDutchman you have access to (and can participate in) all congress debates, and you can check the votes.

Happy holidays,

djirtsdew
PP of Democratic Netherlands
