Communism is a fantasy, fascism is the reality we live in.
Actually more of a corporate autocracy.
Lol
communism has in all communist governments amounted to fascism.
The ideal of Communism is worthy (but to date never realised)
Fascism is an evil that with its close buddies of racism and xenophobia is a root cause of human misery (as was/is the polluted from of communism...stalinism)
dictatorism > marxism > communism > fascism
Communism, in principle, is perfect. In practice, it's totalitarianism.
Fascism is a blight on humanity. Sadly, it's all too real.

Rather than based on equality it focuses entirely on hierarchy and tends to utilize racism and nationalism.

That quote shows a fundamental lack of knowledge about Fascism, both economically and historically.
Communism is not meant to be an attainable "end" in itself - it is something that society is meant to strive for. Once we live in a classless and stateless society we will live under communism but even Marx knew that there would arise antagonisms after communism that we will never know. It is the highest state of development that we can fathom thus far.
Fascism is part of a primitive practice - it is the modern reactionary extreme that which previously monarchism and feudalism once took place. Take an absolute monarchy and place it in a modern state and you have fascism.
Communism is a socioeconomic movement that believes in a stateless and classless society where man is free to live in leisure. At the core of Communism is the belief in class consciousness and struggle, which they assign the primary mover of human history.
Fascism is a totalitarian ideology that grew out of national syndicalism and Neo-Hegelianism. It believes in reorganizing society through corporatism, which is often mistaken for crony capitalism because of the use of the word "corporation," but has more similarities with trade unions.
The USSR isn't a good example of why Marxism doesn't work because neither Marx nor Engels would have believed it capable of a proletariat revolution. It was a feudalist state that hadn't even had a industrial revolution like the countries in Western Europe had (where power had been transferred from the aristocracy to the middle class).
