As a Congressmen, I stand as an agent of change. A dreamer. Possibly a delusional. For quite some time now, I've been the member of a small society. A dead and dying group of Role Players, demonized by the actions of a handful, and neglected in the grand scheme of our society.
We have played by the rules for far too long. Congress has neglected its ability to create magnificent things, the purpose for which it is uniquely equipped. Instead, the Legislative has succumb to the power of the significantly more influential Executive, willingly handing over any and all responsibility, and finding contentment in the most trivial and meaningless of matters, instead of working towards golden future for the eUnited States.

Many of the citizens of our great country have observed our decline. And I am not one to argue against an indubitable fact such as this, but rather, I pose a cause, observed by my own expierence within the country.

How exactly do you expect a country to reach its highest potential when half of its leadership has been castrated, and stripped of of its abilities to manage the aspects of government that it is uniquely gifted to control?
Our situation presents itself to be similar to that of people who have half of their brain removed. Medically, is it possible to lose half your brain and still function on a normal level? Indeed, it is, or, at least, it seems so to the outside observer. One side of the brain picks up the majority of the functions of its removed counterpart, provided the elasticity is still intact. However, the potential of these individuals is greatly reduced. The day to day operations can go on, but vital, unique aspects contained by only that section of operation are gone, unrecoverable due to one side's inability to replicate the unique attributes of the other.
The situation of the distribution of power between the Legislative and executive branch of our government serves itself to be strikingly similar. The executive and legislative branches of government can both handle the day to day operations of the country, but each side is uniquely gifted with certain attributes that make it more adept at certain methods of governing as opposed to others. The problem we currently face is the fact that the Executive has been given near full control over aspects that Congress is more adept at handling. Personally, I would point to the Department of Interior as a prime example. The DoI spent months upon months in disarray when control was shifted from the Legislative to the Executive, due to some of its unique needs. The DoI requires a stable influx of relatively active volunteers and leaders, something Congressmen would be able to dedicate their time to with ease. The Executive is better suited to control programs with stable leadership, and stable memberships, for it has to go farther out of its way to acquire new personnel than what would be required of Congress. Therefore, instead of bickering over trivial, meaningless details, congress must rise to the occasion, and take charge of the duties that it is uniquely gifted to manage in a manner that is superior to that of the Executive. Balance must be achieved, above all else.

My Stance on Things
Economic Crisis: Out of the many ideas that have been thrown out that could possibly stabilize the US😨GOLD ratio and halt the rampant inflation our country is facing was to temporarily raise the New Citizen Fee in order to remove some excess USD from the economy, in the form of my new players leaving before they ever truly begin playing. I believe if we were to employ this method, we would be able to cut down a bit on the inflation, possibly entice some players to stick around a little bit longer, all without truly having to exert much change on our country.

Military Crisis: Despite my three consecutive graduations from the Training Corps, I have next to no conventional military expierence. Therefore, my opinion towards the matter may be biased in favor of the politico output. Keeping that in mind, I believe that the executive has the right to exert direction and, to a moderate extent, control over the overall actions of military. However, the manner by which Congress placed these new rules are not acceptable between two groups that are supposed to be on the same side. The relationship between the Executive and Military must always be one of mutual benefit and respect, and one side cannot hover over the other because some imaginary document states they have the ability to do so. It's kind of like the FEC and political parties. Political parties participate in the FEC due to the mutual benefit, not because Congress forces them to. That is the preferable method when dealing with these forms of situations.

Recruitment and Retention: The name of the domestic game has been Retention for as long as I can remember in this country. This status quo has led to some, frankly, borderline idiotic and worthless programs that have been implemented over and over and over and over (ad infinitum) and over once more, simply by different people and under different program names. The most recent of these was the Operation Clickaholics, a program literally dedicated to attempting to annoy the hell out of two clickers in an attempt to get them to become active. As far as Retention goes, once we ensure that information of our society is available to two clickers and new players, something easily achieved by the Media and the CDP, we are done. People play this game for different reasons, and there are a large number of people who play and do not wish to participate in the outer apparatus of the game, regardless of how much we bloody annoy them to death. Its almost like every administration has operated under the belief that two clickers live with a shroud of darkness around them, completely willing to participate in our society but shrouded by ignorance, and yet, one message would bring them from the brink and then they'd embark upon the path to being the next JCS or President. As the sender of 82,000 private messages, a good 95% of them being in the form of Mass Message, and a good majority of those being to unaffiliated two clickers, I can tell you for a fact....
The vast majority of two clickers are two clickers because they want to be two clickers.
No matter how many PM's you send them, you are not going to change that reality. The best way to help our society and create an influx of new faces is by means of Recruitment. And the best way to do that is for Congress to absorb REACH from the Executive. The program has always stood out, even from the DoI programs it was placed around. Congress needs a purpose, and REACH needs a home. Lets give it one.

Research and Development: My tenure as a REACH director taught me a few things, but the most important of which was without question the importance of information and research when dealing with the administration of a program, as well as dealing with a program where there was no precedent. Surprisingly, there have been political, media, economic, social, philanthropic, and many more institutions in the eUS, but I have never seen an institution dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge (not counting the universities, which were dedicated to newbie education). Wouldn't we be better off if we were able to actually observe the economic situation of the eUS? What if we were able to determine the effects of military events on retention? Do certain RL events correlate with influxes of new citizens, or the opposite, less new citizens? If elected, I will push for a Congressional Research and Development operation, dedicated to the pursuit and study of the eWorld, in a manner that will mutually benefit the eUnited States, and possibly the eWorld.

I do honestly believe that I possess the correct combination of knowledge, expierence, energy, and adaptability that would place me in a position to directly benefit and contribute greatly towards the prosperity of our Legislative branch. And due to this, I ask for your support. However, if I am not elected, it is not the end of the world. I wish only to be elected in a circumstance that the people of this country support me.
Many of the candidates in this election rely on their friends and their parties to elect them, instead of their credentials. Ideologically, I am opposed to this. And in the spirit of Gandhi's 'Be the change that you wish to see in the world,'
I have refused Mobile Voter support from my party.
I wish only to be elected if I am worthy of this seat, and only if America decides, not me. If I lose, I lose. But I will have lost with the idea that I stood against a practice I see as against Democracy, and my head shall be held high with pride.

I promise to dedicate my being to this office, and the ideals that I have stated here. To my fellow citizens, this I swear. If you wish to see these implemented, and myself dedicated....
