Yesterday 16 Shells detailed the reprehensible behavior of Congressman Chickensguys. To those who think that we "take things too seriously", I only want to assure you that when my computer gets turned off I don't give a damn about eRepublik. But when I am playing, I PLAY. So shut up about "it's just a game", and "you take it too seriously". If you can't see the humor in playing seriously, then go publish your own, "Q5 Tanks for Votes" articles. No one takes those seriously. Have at it.

However, if you want to play along, I recommend following the example of Glove. Rather than mindlessly criticize 16 Shells for publishing a virtual opinion about a virtual congressman in a virtual newspaper, he published his own virtual opinion in his virtual newspaper and guess what? Everyone has more fun. The New World needs more Gloves.
Very shortly after 16 Shells published its expose on his reckless Impeachment proposal and subsequent belligerent defiance before Congress, Chickensguys posted a very well-written apology on the eUSA Forums (where if you have not registered, you are not really playing eRepublik as an eAmerican!).



Since that posting, Chickensguys has:
reversed his course,
apologized for his actions,
admitted his offense against the Constitutional Code, and
subjected himself to the disciplinary will of the acting SoH.

In response, I am asking Congress to forgive Chickensguys and move on.

I also withdraw my call for blocking Chickensguys from holding further office. 16 of you voted him in this time. If you can do it again next month, more power to ya. I, of course, will be voting Federalist!
In response to the inflammatory suggestion made by Glove that the current White House administration has absconded with Gold from the CBO, please be assured that these assertions are baseless. Yes, 1,000 Gold has vanished from the CBO. However, it was not taken by any Citizen, but by Admin who is claiming that it should not have been there to begin with.

Your Government officials are currently working with Admin to rectify the situation. Very little explanation has been offered by Admin (as usual). Once the White House understands Admin's actions better, a ticket will be submitted requesting the return of the Gold. The CBO maintains that this is an Admin error.

Surely Glove needs better information before he publishes slanderous claims that members of the USWP have stolen this gold. If you need to read Glove's inaccurate accusation, just look around, he's posted a link to it in nearly every corner of eRepublik.
