Champions!

Day 3,087, 10:25 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

When I was little I used to be very interested in football facts, but they weren't always good. Asking my dad why we have made it to 4 FA Cup finals but never actually managed to win was responded with "yeah, but we won the League Cup twice with Martin O'Neill". I have some very early memories of Leicester in my life, I remember when we were relegated from the Premier League, I remember when the new Walkers Stadium was built, I don't remember Emile Heskey playing for us (some say that is a good thing). When I was young we were constantly finishing in the bottom half of the Championship, but our chairman had a "three year plan" to get us back in the Premier League. The first year of that plan we ended up getting relegated into League One... We came back up first attempt and it took a few more years for us to win the Championship and make it into the Premier League. The first year back into the Premier League is meant to be an amazing thing, but after a few months we were rock bottom and everyone had written us off. I think you all know the story from there on. The thing that makes this so special to me is not that we were bottom of the league last season but everything that came before it. In my, my dad's and my grandad's life time nothing this good has happened to Leicester - and possibly football. I had so many friends who supported big clubs like United, Arsenal and Chelsea when we were in League One, and I don't think they will ever understand what it feels like to win a Premier League like this. I'd rather support Leicester and have one amazing season full of passion and desire in my life than support a team like United and finish near the top every season with a team full of egos. It makes the winning a million times better. I do hope we go on to fight near the top of the league for many more years, but watching a team with passion and desire is more important.

And if anyone wants to come down to Leicester in the next few weeks there will be loads of parties going on. There is a massive party in town on Saturday and most likely one will suddenly start near King Power as well. There will also be a huge party when we have the trophy parade (rumour has it that thousands of Italians are coming). Make sure you come down, it will be the biggest party on Earth!

Anyone who comments can have 10 Q7 weapons. I have loads and I will give them out. I'm in a good mood (post something negative and I wont send you weapons though).
