CFN SPECIAL ISSUE on social interaction and game play

Day 2,894, 05:34 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by nutty fox

Since I am totally out of ideas for an article so here are some thoughts around eRepublic in general, gameplay and social interaction.

First I have to go back in time in my first visit around here. I was introduced to the game by a friend from an other game.

Back then I had totally too much time in hand (read un employed). So did spend a lot of time online.

I started my life in here as some others have done, read the wiki, loads of newspapers and spending time in chat & forum (Finland).
You can get so much great information by reading even few countries news feeds. Obviously subscribing a collection of fascinating ones. Not even gonna bother to talk about the media mogul prize 😃 .

In a very short time I made friends all over eRepublic and had some interesting conversations. There was radio station stuff and other crazy plans around here.

Trust me, if you do quality journalism over here you get noticed! That’s why its great to see endorsements for new players from older players to help them out on that 2 gold. I have a memory that I was helped on this back in Finland.

I actually was invited to a live meeting in Finland with players all around the country. I had no idea what type of persons would arrive in the meeting. Not going into details, since its classified information, but it was a great meet. Funny when people around you take their smart phones and do eRepublic “duties”.

When I moved to eNetherlands I had few agendas (this is mentioned in one of my past issues).
Main reason was to publish in english and hopefully get a bigger audience for my newspaper.

Second reason was (this was clearly noted) in RL I have a strong passion of Netherlands. This has gotten stronger in last 2 years. I have actually been once in Amsterdam for 3 spectacular days. So much to see (not talking about red lights and coffee shops now).
If you go there I strongly recommend to take the guided tour in the channels. This tour opened the thing I was puzzled about, the hooks in the houses close to the roof. Now I know why they are there 😃 .
Third reason was pure learning curve of diplomatic relations and I actually hosted for a short time the eFinland embassy over here.
So this game can give you so much more than 2 clicking, if you wish so!

Now on my return (less time but active in a way), my list of things done and to be done.

- upgrade the 2nd training facility.
- Have a private food supplier now (cash 4 food)
- Try to sort out quality reading in my newspaper.
- Do my duties in congress (when im part of it)
- Represent my military unit.

I really like the community over here. When youre even semi active so many people are willing to help you out, possible gold loans, great deals on weapons and food and private discussions on diverse matters.

I have one interesting project in discussion but that has to do with time management and other issues. Obviously I cant give you more details at the moment.
If you read this far I can tell you that this issue is part of the challenge to get 25 comments.

Sorry for no pictures this time around. I do want to do issues in the future with diagrams and pictures. If you read back issues you can see that I do try to sort out pics in my articles.

All comments in Finnish, Swedish, English and Dutch are welcome. I do understand here and there (parts) Dutch writing. Oh right and Norwegian comments also welcomed.

Regards
