Being eIrish for a year!
BickUA
Heya my brothers and sisters.
This week I'm celebrating my first eIrish birthday and I'm happy that I've found this great community - even RtK 🙂
One year ago I was sitting in apartments in Dublin, 6 hours before my flight back home, drinking Bud (I really don't like Guinness... yes...) and fighting for Ireland and as I've spent 3 month out of 6 in rl Ireland and started to love this green island even more - I've decided to be an Irish. At least in eRepublik (who knows... maybe sometime soon not only here😉
). Since that day I haven't been in Ireland and really miss it 🙁
eIreland is a great example of a family - not ideal (nothing should be ideal, or it'll be ruined), but family where everybody knows each other and most of us (I hope) will help anybody else when needed.
During this year we, as a family, have done a lot of important (and not always right) things, and I'm also happy that I was here all this time.
I even started to enjoy social and political activity, but then I've got lots of new responsibilities in RL and now i'm almost in read/fight-only mode 🙁
So I wanted to say thanks to all Ireland for giving reason to play this game every (almost) day. Especially Cry of the Banshee and Bhane 😉
And to celebrate this important for me date I'll gift 5 (7 for D1) Q7 tanks to first 50 eIrish who'll comment on this post.
Be proud and have fun!

I for one, am very glad you're here.
No tanks for me, please. Save them for the next guy.
It's really great to have such strong players in our community. Hope you'll count lot's of good years in eIreland. And I don't need the tanks. Give mine to some younger citizen. Thanks.

In RL, we have the "two winters" rule.
Basically, if you last two winters in Ireland, you're accepted by the community as it's likely you'll stay. No-one bothers their a*s with tourists playing home-farm and complaining about how everything is backwards here compared to their own country. They never last long.
In game terms, I'd say you easily have the "two winters" behind you. It's great that you enjoy being eIrish. Ní heolas go haontíos 😉
your from cyprus. so didnt last your 2 winters did you lass. aye and i have been here from the start not 2 winters no previous countries. Is glas na cnoic i bhfad uainn.
I'd say Grainne qualifies as having her two winters behind her in game terms.
You have been here from the start? Under a different account surely as for the first three years I have played in eIreland I do not remember your name popping up.
from the time i started here the start
heh, nice rule 🙂 I like it
Great to have you here Bick. Keep up the good work.
oohhh hand over the weps
gifted 7, cause looks like you're in D1 🙂
handz over the weps
still no weps another scam?
An Irishman, an Englishman and a Scotsman go into a pub. Each orders a pint of Guinness. Just as the bartender hands them over, three flies buzz down and land-- one, two, three-- in each of the pints.
The Englishman looks disgusted, pushes his pint away and demands another... the Scotsman picks out the fly, shrugs, and takes a long swallow.
The Irishman reaches in to the glass, grabs the fly between his fingers and shakes him as hard as he can, shouting 'Spit it out, ya bloody bastard! Spit it out!'
I believe its suppose to be the scot that yells at the fly and the irish man that shrugs. In those jokes english= normal/prick scottish=angry irish=stupid. Its no wonder the daft englsih made these jokes to justify themselves.
if you want to be iffy about it sure. it is on a irish site telling your culture so i think this one is irish btw.
