The ATLANTIS Invasion of France, codenamed Operation French Toast by Erepublik players, was a military conflict in which ATLANTIS nations: the USA, the UK, Sweden, Spain and Canada conducted a joint attack on PEACE GC member France. This military conflict started on 7 December 2008, when Spain attacked France; soon followed by other ATLANTIS nations.


After Spain launched three successful attacks in Southern France, ATLANTIS members opened four more fronts: Sweden attacked Lorraine from its occupied regions in Germany, the UK attacked Lower Normandy, the US attacked Poitou Charentes while Canada attacked Brittany and Pays de la Loire. All those battles were won by the invading coalition. The first country France managed to stop was the UK, in the Battle of Picardy. Soon after, France started winning battles and getting back its regions. Sweden and Spain were left the only one advancing since the US and Canada lost most of it supplies fighting against France. At the end, ATLANTIS retreated from France to re-organize its troops on other fronts. The Invasion failed and PEACE GC won the war.


World War II had also other important fronts; wars started even before the ATLANTIS Invasion of France. On 11 November 2008 Indonesia and Argentina were officially in war. Three days later war was declared between Brazil and Argentina, but no battles were opened. During the Invasion, Argentina launched an attack on Western Cape, a region occupied by Indonesia. The main objective of this battle was to distract the Indonesian military from helping France. On 29 December 2008, a joint Brazilian-Indonesian attack was launched on Argentina; Brazil attacked Mesopotamia, while Indonesia attacked Pampas. Indonesia was successful in this war, advancing really fast into the South American continent. During the Battle of Cuyo, the Argentine President proposed a unofficial Peace Treaty to both Brazil and Indonesia. Both countries accepted it. On 15 January 2009, Argentina decided to leave ATLANTIS and on 7 February 2009 joins PEACE GC, together with Chile and Slovenia. On 23 February 2009, an official Peace Treaty was signed ending the war.


On 12 December 2008, the Romanian Congress passed the declaration of war law on Russia while the first battle occurred on 27 December 2008. On 6 January 2009, Russia was left completely conquered by Romania due to the Political Take Over done in Russia by the Romanian Army.


In March 2009, a planned region swap occurred in Iran where Indonesia was given access to the Romanian border in Asia. With the help of Hungary, Indonesia managed to win several battles in this war. After a staged battle with Norway in the Urals, Romania managed to win against Indonesia and advance into Asia, conquering China and Pakistan. The Romanian target was the high iron region of Kartanaka, owned by Indonesia. When Romania got into Tamil Nadu, the last region before Kartanaka, Indonesia opens a Resistance War and gives Kartanaka back to India. Romania and India made an agreement about the region, but a PEACE GC counter-attack happened in April and May. The last two battles were the Battle of Podolia between Romania and Hungary and the Battle of Western Siberia between Romania and Indonesia. Both battles were epic and PEACE GC members won both of them. Investigations happened after the war by the Administration because of game exploits.


After months of Swedish-German tense relations, Sweden finally agreed to let Germany become a member of ATLANTIS in March 2009. When the trial membership was about to end, the new-elected Swedish President opposed the new membership status and decided to declare war. Most of ATLANTIS members stood by Sweden in this conflict while the other were neutral or were supporting Germany like the UK. In mid-May Poland also declared war. Germany was completely occupied and the dissolution of ATLANTIS was announced.

New alliance were born: EDEN and Fortis. EDEN will be created in September 2009 and will last for more than three years. PEACE GC will be dissolved in November 2009 and a new alliance will be created called Phoenix.
